and it's tough to beat bama on tradition. most tide fans don't need something so obvious as a name tag on each of those plays. they know those plays and know what each one means.

"...most tide fans don't need something so obvious as a name tag on each of those plays."
Exactly. I can name the player and/or the game & year of probably 95% of those highlights....and not because they're in that video. They're in the video because everybody knows them.
(Sorry to chime in so late, I was on vacation the last few days.)
Jesus H. Christ, does every team have to use this song with their pre-game videos?
ReplyDeleteuga doesn't. we use Baba O'Riley from The Who and Battle Hymn of the Republic.
ReplyDeleteThe H is for Harold.
ReplyDeleteWhat other schools use the Requiem for a Dream song?
ReplyDeleteAnon #1: perhaps you'd prefer "Blessed be the Name"?
ReplyDeleteDidn't LSU use it in their Muhammad Ali pre-game video?
ReplyDeleteMan, as a fan it would be tough to endure that for eight straight home games.
ReplyDeleteMost of the highlights are so old you can't differentiate the players.
Sounds like it would be a good time to go to the bathroom.
that's a great video.
