Profanity: Bobby Knight's true artistic medium

No kidding when I say this. If you're bashful around extreme profanity, don't watch this. If you don't have headphones at work. Don't watch this.

But if you want to see an artist at the height of his game, check out these outtakes from Bobby Knight's golfing show. Un.Real.Profanity.

Fantastic title for the post. I always think of Ralphie's father whenever I hear someone swear effectively.

If it weren't for the inevitable assault charges, I wish someone had a camera on that man all day long. Even filming for "network affiliate", he doesn't care. I mean, "Jesus Christ Bernie do you know what all I gotta f***in do today?"

Dan - when TBS does the Christmas and Thanksgiving Marathons of Christmas Story, I probably watch some or all of 6 episodes per year.

Great movie. The quote you're referencing is one of my all-time favs:
"My father worked in profanity the way other artists might work in oils or clay. It was his true medium, a master."

Another underrated line:

"Some men are Baptists, others Catholics, my father was an Oldsmobile man."

My parents have a friend...old retired guy who's line is similar....

"I believe in Jesus Christ, Ronald Reagan, the Georgia Bulldogs and Brack Rowe Chevrolet. And not necessarily in that order."

To rip-off the sports guy, I think there are two kinds of people in this world; people that like A Christmas Story and people that don't have a soul.

The fact that Ralphie's mom appeared topless in Slap Shot took me days to get over. It was like seeing my own mother naked I had seen A Christmas Story so many times up to that point.

i think a Christmas story sucks ass but more importantly that is a funny ass video of Basketball Coach Jesus at his best

My favorite line from a Christmas Story is the narrator discussing internally how he planned on convincing his mother that owning a BB gun was a good idea. He needed to be subtle, yet cunning:

Ralphie: "Flick said he saw some bears by school the other day."

And of course for those more interested in salacious affairs you can look into any of the fine adult offerings involving the kid that played Schwartz. (Also the kid from The Toy.)

Not only was Ralphie's mom topless in Slapshot, she was a lesbian too!

That video was Bobby Knight at his best. He should have left coaching a long time ago to focus on a career tv.

Can you imagine if he had hunting show too?
