I took statistics as an undergrad in an unstructured class...no instructor taught by the brightest among the fourteen of us..an experiment monitored by a PhD candidate...2 F's, 10 C-'s, 1 B, 1 A (the bright student)...no way does an independent study get close to a C or better. But then again, we weren't jocks!
