Record Month for the Georgia Sports Blog

Dawgnoxious and I served up 96,000+ page views during your 50,000+ visits in June. That makes our readership larger than the sports pages of many small town newspapers across the state.

Today the Jesup Daily Bugle.
Tomorrow the NY Times.

In July, we've got more cool things in store. We're going to publish a series of stories called "Dawgs Abroad." The stories will look at the lengths that Georgia fans stationed or living far away will go to keep up with UGA athletics. We're also returning to the football pre-season interviews from mid-Spring.

Thanks for checking in, and thanks to all the sites and message boards that sent us so much traffic last month. Football season should be fun.

PS -- To date, this site (in its various iterations) has had 427,090 visits and served up 791,344 page views.

PSS -- I'll be tinkering with the header graphic for the next few weeks. Just bear with me please.

Congrats on your success, guys.

Not a "Dawg Abroad", but as a "distant" Dawg in Oregon, this is where I come first to get my sports and satire fix. Not quite as satisying as a rare Athens road trip, but GSB ranks right up there with ESPNGameplan and Full Court as an essential tool for faraway Dawgs.

Keep up the great work,

Dawgs-Ducks in '14 and'15!

I live in Athens now, and this is easily the most fun site I visit (dawgs or otherwise), and frequently the most informative. Keep up the good work!!

Mayor Kyle, apples and oranges, my friend. The Georgia Sports Blog is to Dawgsports as The Onion is to the Economist.

No disrespect intended by the comment about GSB and Dawgbone. I have read your blog when I can and have found it very insightful and thoroughly in depth. With two kids under three, I have to pick my news and commentary sources on an efficiency basis and unfortunately at this point, I don't have the time for the depth of your discussions. Keep up the good work. You are and integral part of the dawgosphere.
