Heroes have graced the field before you

KornDawg put this together as sort of an alternate version of the Munson Commentary pre-game. I disagree with him that this is a post-Munson retirement type alternative, but it's still cool. I liked the music.

Music kinda reminds me of the opera scene from 5th Element.

The music is "The Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone. It's from the soundtrack of "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"...The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra plays it as the intro to Metallica's "S&M" album as well.

I thought that was very Sergio Leone-esque music. I kept waiting for a still of Clint Eastwood to pop up.

lol to the last post w/ the eastwood mention. btw, had the pleasure to watch Once Upon a Time in the West a couple of months ago, and its quickly become one of my favorite movies of all time.

Metallica have had "The Ecstasy of Gold" played right before they go on in concert for a number of years now. It's a great composition, but every time I hear it, I feel like I should hear "Blackened" or "Battery" right afterward. And of course recently, Metallica did their own version of "Ecstasy of Gold". Good Video though.

This is really funny. I was coming in here to post that if they were going for the western theme, they should go for the opening ambiance/music from once upon time in the west.
