Munson Mix of the Day: James Brown "Dr. Feelgood"

I first heard the original version of this song on 96 Rock's "Weekend Whistle" about 15 years ago. I was blown away by it, but it took me another 8 years or so to actually find a copy of it.

This was one of the first Munson Mixes I put together around 2000 or so. I should probably either redo this one or turn it into a video.

My first thought is good job. Second is that it's interesting that we rarely hear Munson calls from the Henderson, Worley, Hampton, Tate days. In retrospect, we had a run of tailbacks unlike most any other team in college football.

Would be nice to hear some of those calls. Hampton, btw, is a very underrated bulldog who probably deserves more recognition for his play.

TOUCHDOWN!!!!!

Its just okay - I like Kit Kitchen's original mixes way better. Plus you can barely hear Munson over James Brown.

Just got home from the Saturday game with Vandy. Dawgs were down 0-2 in the top of the Ninth, took 2 from the Dores, held 'em in the bottom of the ninth, then added 2 more in the top of the tenth! Held 'em again for the 4-2 win. The Dores fans were frothing at the mouth in anticipation of another win in the series, only to leave dejected (re: football). Great day to be a Georgia Bulldog! The entire Dawg team autographed a baseball for my son. Class act.
