CBS Games Announced

CBS's college football broadcast schedule is out. Other than South Carolina, which we've known about, Tennessee, LSU, and the Cocktail Party are slated for 3:30 PM kickoffs. Georgia Tech will be a noon kickoff (ugh!). The Kentucky and Auburn games may get picked up, but those aren't definitive.
Nothing really shocks me about any of these. I note that the Tennessee game will be followed by LSU and Florida in primetime. Also, I think we catch a break by playing in Baton Rouge during the broad daylight. But, the noon kickoff against Tech will put a damper on the party. Oh well, more time to taunt your favorite Tech fan after the game.
Although nothing is official yet, I'd say the Alabama game is a mortal lock for a 7:45 PM kickoff. That should be fun. Start investigating homemade hangover cures now.

PWD UPDATE: As of very late Friday night, CBS had pulled the listings off their web site. They did this last year as well. Here's the full schedule (as it relates to Georgia) based on the information up as of this morning:

Tennessee at 3:30?! We need this game moved so the blackout can be in full effect!

No way CBS passes up Alabama at LSU for our Kentucky game. That's Saban's return to Baton Rouge. There will be more venom there than any Jerry Springer show ever dreamed. I'm sure we'll end up on the Deuce, same as the Vandy game, which is almost always on ESPN2. Or RayCom-Jefferson-Pilot-Lincoln Financial...whatever it's called now.

Austin,

It looks like the only opportunity for a blackout is going to be the UA game. That being said I still feel the black jerseys should not be an every year occurrence.

I agree with Chance...be unpredictable and random with the blackout....

NOT every year.

Tech at noon is too early. Damn.

Tenessee NEEDS to be the blackout game. Haven't beat them since 2005. If we lose this game, we're chasing FU's ass the rest of the way.

GOT TO BLACK OUT THE VOLS.

Crap, was hoping my first game in Red Stick would be at night.

I'm not so sure Tennessee will be the blackout. Still a little early in the season, still pretty warm in Athens. CMR said last year he didn't want the team wearing black when it's hot for obvious reasons. If it's not too hot in Jax, I'm calling the Florida game for the blackout. Could be Tech as well. Hell, they might where those jerseys twice this season.

I think the black jersey's will be a reward for the guys this year.

We'll see them in either the SEC title game or in the bowl, I think

Well, over here in Hong Kong, 3:30 starts suck. That means getting up in the middle of the night to watch them at 3:30/4:30 AM (depending on Daylight Saving Time). So I don't want to hear any bitching about a noon start for Tech.

CMR said that if we were home in the WLOCP last year that we would have blacked out UF. Could we do it this year? If not I am not 100% sold that we wouldn't black out Tennessee. The blackout was successful against AU because the fans were so raucous. Wearing black in the stands really helps out the other team just as much as our guys because they can spot the ball easier see UF vs USC 2001.

If I have dish net, where can I get southern game? does anyone know if it will be on gameplan? I heard even if it is, it could get blacked out (not the jerseys!)...
