Man, he looked nervous. Poor guy. Welcome to the media spotlight kid.

Man.... he's missing out on some endorsement potential... Just think if he threw a little personality into these things... then maybe he could make some money :P

LOL, loved the Jessica Simpson comment, that one had me rolling.

For some reason, all the media hype matthew is getting makes me mad. Don't get me wrong, I waned him to go number 1 and will be a detroit fan next year, but all of his media schmoozing further convinces me that he never really cared about being a dawg. I know that all players use college as a stepping stone for the NFL, but at least be a bulldog while you're here. Champ Bailey, Hines Ward, and Thomas Davis all cared, and they've had great careers.
I don't know, I just feel like Stafford was never a Georgia quarterback, he just played quarterback for Georgia.

I like #2, 6, and 10. If I was in his shoes, I would pull a hamstring until they got a decent o-line.

Anon @ 6:51, don't assume anything. He is being paraded around for the whole country right now. I am just glad to see he is acting nonchalant instead of acting like a giant tool.

anon 6:51..those other Dawgs you mentioned were not #1 picks in the NFL draft. I remember seeing other #1s in the past. Grow up.

Aren;t there enough people out there to tear him down? Do we have to start on here?

Jeez. I think he did pretty good. To bad no anon's will ever get their chance to show him how it is done.

Come on anon, you act like he's gone Peyton or something! He's our boy.

Stafford seemed pretty comfortable on E60 today. He was pretty funny.

Peyton Manning was not a media genius in the first days. Stafford has every bit of personality as Peyton and will grow into that (as long as his win tally does as well). When did we get over being super excited about the free market determining our boy the best around?

Anon @ 6:51, none of the dawgs you mentioned ever led us to a #2 final ranking. Stafford led us to the best year nationally since #34.

He's a South Carolina/UK/Vandy FG from being the last guy to wear number 7.

I am sick and tired of all the so called "Georgia fans" who are bitter about Stafford leaving. Grow up and quit being so self-centered. You know damn well that if you were in his shoes you would have done the same thing. This whole idea that he was "never a dawg" is nothing more than the creation of those of you who just can't deal with the fact that we didn't win a national title last year, and blaming Stafford is your way of coping. I say shame on you. You should be balls out proud right now that a Dawg got drafted #1 overall and is the center of all the media attention. Good for him, he deserves it.

This is a really great top ten list, Stafford is going to be Pro Bowler. Ok, maybe that was a stretch, but he will be an instant impact player. Anyone can post their own list to our site http://www.toptentopten.com/. The coolest feature is you can let other people vote on the rankings of your list.

Good god he looked like a giant tool/robot. No charisma at all in that appearance.

"I know that all players use college as a stepping stone for the NFL, but at least be a bulldog while you're here."

What the hell does this even mean? Complete nonsense.

(Additionally, Matthew Stafford is no longer "here." He, under the direction of his HC, his OC, his teammates, and his school, is the #1 pick in the NFL Draft and guaranteed a boatload of money. Which only looks good on us.)

I guess Herschel was never a Bulldog then. His leaving was far more shocking considering he went to the freakin' USFL. He had even toyed with going to the CFL before that.

Only an idiot would knock Stafford and his days at UGA.

Sadly, we have an idiot on board.

I just wish Stafford would wear some Georgia Bulldog gear while on these shows. But he may not be allowed to. During the NFL draft, they showed Aaron Curry being asked to remove his Wake Forest pins while on TV -- so maybe they ask the same of Stafford. Still, a little "sic 'em woof woof" never hurt anybody. Ask Julia Roberts.

Kevin, UGA isn't paying Stafford 41.7 million. The Detroit Lions are. Really no debate there on what kind of gear you wear.

Stafford taking T.V. appearances, does not make him any less of a bulldog... Who wouldn't take advantages of the opportunities that he has been presented. Most would call you stupid if you didn't.

As for him looking like a robot, this is always how these people who Letterman has come in read the lists act... it's part of the Shtick

Reading a teleprompter is not as easy as it looks. Some are better at it than others.

I will go to my grave proud that Matthew Stafford was once a damn good quarterback and he will always in my mind be a damn good dawg!

I remember that time he threw that pass to that other guy...good times.

other guy = Morgan Burnette?

At least it was a touchdown pass.
