LOOK AT THE WEEDEATERS FALLING FROM THE SKY!

You shipment of fail has arrived. Look at the weed eaters falling from the sky! I'm too pissed to type, and I'm too annoyed to read anyone else's rants either. Shreveport here we come.

Comments are open. Lay off the profanity. I don't have time to delete a bunch of that stuff.

Watching the Falcons...the good news is I'm not sure their DB's could start for UGA...so that's a positive...

Maybe not the corners, but pick any safety in the Southern Conference and they could beat out number 3.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result....Well last night was nothing more than an expose of sheer madness. When I was on campus as an undergrad-if we scored 27 points the game was over. Hopefully, and I stress the word, "hopefully," this debacle will remove any seed of doubt from Richt's mind that forfeiting a season in the interest of personal feelings towards certain players or staff (you all know who I'm talking about) is unacceptable. These kids are young but the coaches are professionals, and its a results driven business gentlemen.

Guys, last night was one of the worst performances I have seen. After a lot of Makers Mark and some sleep... I am thinking more clearly today. This team was really this undisciplined last year. But we had Moreno and Stafford to pull us to an 8-4 record. It truly is the discipline issue. I never played this game, but I have loved it and been a student of it all my life. I will just go back to some of Paul's wisdom from earlier. Kick off and punt coverage is a huge problem. Why are we using big guys for that job? you have to put some of your best out there. Our defense is horrible, but it has to be hard when every freaking time the other team gets the ball on the freaking 38 to 40. I admire coach, I truly do,but we need some changes. We really have not had any defense since Van Gorder left. I have heard folks say that kids did not like his discipline or that kids won't play for hard arses any more. Well, is Saban not a beast? I don't know guys but some coaches need to go. Living in Atlanta is hell when you lose to Tech 2 or 3 times. I just can't take it.

Richt needs to practically clean house. A few key hires will turn the program around.

Somewhere Matt Stafford and his family is having a good laugh at UGA's fan expense.

Focusing on Cox ("Coxtastrophe" pic) is a bit harsh. Saturday evening truly was a team effort -- players, coaches, offense, defense, and not-so-special teams all "contributed" to that debacle. I was fooled; at halftime I was thinking, "Well, at least they're getting back to the point of beating teams they're supposed to beat."

The silver lining, of course, is that it's all the more reason to get new blood on the coaching staff. Absolutely no chance now of getting lulled into any late-season false sense of "Hey, they're finally jelling, things will be okay."

I cant wait to play in the papajohn's.com bowl. I think even Kentucky is passing us up in terms of our future. Richt needs to go

Anonymous said...

And just who would you get to replace coach? This man has given you winning seasons for many years. He deserves our support. Now, if he refuses to make changes in coaching staff, yes, it has to be more than defensive coordinator, and we see no improvement then we should let him go. It is a business that is results driven. His record before now is one of the best for a new coach. Let's use good judgement.

As a Georgia recruit, I couldn't believe watching all your so-called fans leave when your team still had a chance to win the game. I also couldn't believe the amount of booing.

There is no way in hell I choose UGA now. I'll decide between the other schools in the south with a fanbase that cheers for their team (UF, UT, Bama, Auburn, LSU, Clemson, GT, VT, Miami, etc.)

Anonymous said...

PS - The venom that I saw spewed from UGA fans by yelling at each other amazed me. It even came through on the broadcast at the end of the game. I don't want to go to a place where the support changes on the drop of a dime.

Anonymous said...

Willie and Fabris have to go. At the very least Bobo needs to be stripped of play calling duties, and I am not convinced that we shouldn't get fresh blood in at the OC position.

Dawg19 said...

You're right, Anon: 5:21...

(I don't believe you're a recruit for a second but...)

No other school's fans that are used to winning will ever react that way when the team's losing. It only happens at UGA. By the way...I just had a friend that is an LSU fan tell me that he believes Miles should be fired after what happened against Ole Miss. My friends that are gator fans demanded that Meyer and Strong be fired after losing to Auburn at home in 2007. And you obviously have no idea how Tennessee fans acted ALL last year. In fact, all those teams you mentioned that you will be "considering", have fans that bitch and moan when their team loses. I feel sorry for you that you think the grass will be greener somewhere else. Just make sure that if you choose somewhere like Florida that you keep winning or it will be your name they will be cursing.

Good luck...

Clint said...

At this point, Mark Richt can go. Let's face it, he can change all the coordinators he wants, but the team is still going to commit dumb penalties and play without any passion or heart unless Richt goes. They say teams are modeled after their head coach, well UGA is weak, emotionless, and plays with no sense of passion or urgency.

FIRE MARK RICHT

Team Problem #1 - Persons in positions they are unqualified for. See, e.g., Bobo; Willie; Cox. I blame them for their shortcomings. But I also blame Richt for not actively evaluating his team, and instead going with whomever he feels loyal towards.

Team Problem #2 - Talent evaluation. Just limiting it to GT recruits, you can tell we missed the mark. We let Dwyer go to get King. We passed on Nesbitt. We passed on Burnett when he brother was a bulldawg. You wonder why our 5 star recruits don't end up great? Part of it is they are the overrated five star recruits. I truly believe Richt can't tell the difference and relies almost exclusively on recruiting rankings and who else is offering these kids to figure out if he should offer them.

3) Coaching up - the counterpart to #2. Even when we do get good kids, Richt and co. rarely coach them better than they are supposed to be. I can't really remember the last time someone stepped it up beyond what they were supposed to be able to do. Cox, for example, this year stunk the bed. Ditto Tereshinski. Maybe just having a brain fart, but when was the last time a walk-on ended up playing some pretty good ball? Or a three star nobody expected to ever play all of a sudden errupted?

4) Complacency with mediocrity. Richt seems happy losing 4-6 games a year. No fire over here. There are at least 10 other coaches who would be up in everyone's business with those kinds of performances.

5) Discipline. Most penalized team two years in a row. That's not luck.

JaxJay said...

i heard all offseason what a great leader that cox was...now I realize that's like your buddy telling you that your girlfriend has a great personality, your buddy doesn't wanna tell you your girl is ugly, just like no one wanted to say Cox shouldn't be a qb for a top 25 team, but we fixed that didn't we? Cox is our offensive leader and Bryan "what did I do?" Evans is your defensive leader, enough said.

Richt gets more time if he fires Willie, Fabris, and takes play calling back from bobo.

I just wish richt would get pissed about something...anything, he doesn't seem to understand the fans think we take the games more seriously than he does. get mad, chew somebody's ass, get in someone's face, grab a facemask, show us you're serious.

You gotta beat UT, UF, and GT, richt is gonna be 1-5 in two years unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat. maybe he needs a true dawg to explain to him the importance of these games, i hated spurrier, but he was so bitter about uga killing him as a student, he was gonna do whatever he had to do to win

VAdawg said...

Anon at 6:08,
Your lack of knowledge is startling. I dare say that your statements are, what's the word... stupid.

Yes, I'm really sure that Mark Richt is "happy" and just fine and dandy losing 4 to 6 games a season.

And I bet you're right about talent evaluation. Richt and Gardner just look into their rivals account to see who they want.

I don't disagree with some of what you said, especially about our inability to develop our players' talent and our lack of discipline, but your statements are beyond ridiculous. I agree that we need MAJOR changes within the program, but it's foolish to take an attitude that CMR is just a damn clueless idiot. The man understands the game and the business. Now, if CMR decides not to replace anyone in the offseason, then we can raise some questions about whether or not is senile.

VAdawg said...

I do agree with JaxJay about wanting to see CMR show some fire. I think getting passionate on the sideline or being frank about how much he hates to lose in a press conference would go a long way for his public appearance.

Why don't we have a shuttle pass in our playbook. Florida has killed us for 3 years with the little inside flip to Hernandez, the tight end.
We have tight ends that could do this ,too. And RB's.
The screen pass is much more problematic, especially when the quaterback is not very tall.

shadrach said...

Anon 5:21,

You are so naive. I've seen Florida fans openly mock Ron Zook as he took the field in Jacksonville. Tennessee fans rained obscenities at Phillip Fulmer and staff after games and gave him the same on the radio call in show minus the cursing, three years after winning the National Championship. Same at Alabama with Mike Shula and The Esteemed Nick Saban after a loss to.....Louisiana Monroe. This is big-time football, paid for by big money boosters, with millionaire coaches and billionaire television contracts. If you're not ready for the criticism that comes with this level of play, then pick another sport. Shame on you to think this only happens at UGA. For kicks, tune into AM 870 and listen to the Les Miles coaches show and what the radio jocks at WWL AM 870 have to say about how LSU found a way to lose to Ole Miss this weekend. They'll be showering Les with hugs and kisses.

Wake up, son. College football in the SEC isn't played grins and giggles. It's a business, plain and simple, and the customers vote with their voices and wallets.

Anonymous said...

Calm down. I did not see CMR or CWM turn the ball over 7 times and lose 4 of them.Lot of very good but young inexperienced talent out there. We are two year away from a run at the SEC. Fabris however needs to go. Kick coverage inexcuseable.

For what its worth, a few things i've been considering as the season has progressed, and seemed to culminate against UK.

Defense- Something has to change, and at this point the only thing I feel is going to work is making a change at the top. We've seen the same schemes and poor tackling for well over a year. The talent is there, they just seem to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Offense- I'm more concerned about why we continuously run the ball inside the tackles on 3rd and long than anything. I will agree to a point that the toss sweep has worked well for us this year. But 3rd and goal inside the 2 yard line is not the time to run it off tackle. It's a high risk play in that situation. The proper move is to go to your high percentage 2+ yard plays (trap, dive, QB sneak, etc.) I'd bet alot of money that if you give Chapas the ball down there he gets in the endzone, or any fullback for that matter. And i'm sorry, but dont make the excuse/reference/whatever that Ealey as in bad position because he was a freshman. If thats the case why wasnt Caleb King in the game? Dont call a kids number and then blame a mistake on his inexperience. It was a mistake plain and simple.

Special Teams- We need a coach, a dedicated coach. It's worked pretty well for most notably Virginia Tech. In Beamer ball, its an honor to earn a position on a special teams unit. We've lost more games in the recent past than we've won because of special teams. It needs to be more of a focus and less of a secondary duty.

The offseason is going to be a long one if we can't pull it out next week. Regardless of what we do against Tech, changes need to be made sooner than later after the bowl game.

We should have broken one of the Freshman QB's red shirt awhile ago. Regardless of performance, it makes absolutely no sense to have two guys at that position on the same eligibility schedule.

"UGA fans are crazy if they believe a top coach would touch their program. I offer up Coach Fox as a reminder of what happened the last time Damien and Addams went after a top notch coach."

Of course, because if we can't get a top notch coach for our tradition rich basketball program, then there's no way that our tiny, irrelevant football program can get a good coach.

When has UGA ever hired a top coach for football?

Anonymous said...

A this point every defensive coach MUST go. The DBs have looked utterly lost on the playing field all season long, the LBers are invisible in pass coverage and get stuck inside on perimeter runs more often than not. The DEs are completely inconsistent with a pass rush and then inevitably leave the middle of the field wide open for the QB to sneak out of he rush as they crash the sides of the pockets. Based on special teams play alone, Fabris should be arrested for picking up a check from the state because that is simply fraud. Garner may have been a great DL at one time, but while his DTs have been better than any other group on D this season, that isn't saying much. Also, I think his desire to get a Dc or HC position has made him more restless and less detail-oriented about the nuts and bolts of coaching. There is simply no logical reason to keep any defensive coach this year. Hire a new DC and let him bring in his handpicked staff with him.

Richt was an assistant coach at FSU. He wasn't an unknown, but he certainly didn't qualify as a "top coach" or a household name. In fact, he had no head coaching experience at the time. While he's a good coach and has done a good job, he wasn't on the level of already established head coaches, like Bama hiring Saban or Florida hiring Meyer.

Compare hiring Richt to landing a Gruden or a Cowher. That's the difference.

Anonymous said...

I am probably in the minority here, but I am sick of the "let's pray for victory" mindset of the Richt program. I want a head coach who demands perfection and will dog cuss a player when he screws up (a la saban). I believe that this staff is too soft on players. It's time for Richt to move on to missionary work in Africa.

Anon @ 3:40 - Weis wasn't a big name college coach either. If you remember he was something like ND's 4th or 5th choice. Basically a career assistant in the NFL.

I'll give you Rich Rod, but I think the problem there has been that Michigan's recruiting base doesn't fit his scheme, particularly offensive linemen.

You have selective memory about Pete Carroll. He was not a highly sought after name before he got to USC. His first head coaching stint was for the Jets in 1994, where he soared to a 6-10 record and was fired after one season.

Then Carroll went to the Patriots from 1997-99, where he went 27-21. That's a career head coaching record going into the USC job of 33-31. Legendary stuff, I'd say.

Anonymous said...

Yeah. Pete Carroll. USC fans wanted their AD fired for hiring a mediocre NFL coach. Yeah, they are happy now, but you're practicing selective memory if you don't recall the criticism from every corner SC got for hiring Carroll.

I'll grant you Saban and Meyer (although the latter was far from a slam-dunk for success... there was some risk that his "finesse" offense wouldn't work in the SEC). But there's also Butch Davis who was a slam dunk hire and UNC isn't dominating a very mediocre ACC. Paul Johnson is having great success but the only other team that courted him at the time was SMU.

9 times out of ten NFL re-treads are bad hires. I wouldn't want Shanahan or Gruden because for every Carroll there are three or four Shermans.

And, we're not letting our coach go. Mark Richt will be Georgia's coach next year. If we don't do better than 6 wins and we continue to be non-competitive with Florida, then you can start dreaming of a new head coach.

Anonymous said...

"... or Florida."

Urban Meyer cut his teeth on hilariously easy schedules in mid-major programs. He was no more big name than Richt was.

Urban Meyer in 2005 = Dan Hawkins in 2006. One worked, the other not so much.

As for the Gruden hire, he did a fine enough job p*ssing away all the good will from his Super Bowl win in recent years. No thanks.

shadrach said...

Let's not forget that FL turned to the Zooker prior to The Urbinator. I guess Foley gets a pass for Zook since he struck gold with Meyer. Oh, USC was on the freaking dung pile when Carroll, with a less than impressive NFL resume landed at SC. Oh, and Bama? That "braintrust" waded through a Dubose, who screwed the secretary and publicly lied about the affair. Then, followed up that cluster f*uck with Mike Shula and hooker chasing Mike Price and "Mr. Insider", Dennis Franchione. So, 1 on 5 for Bama is so successful.

Yeah, it's really easy to find a top notch coach.

Anonymous said...

"He was no more big name than Richt was."

Wow, can you get any more incorrect? Urban Meyer was the Sporting News National Coach of the Year in 2003. In 2004 the Utes went 12-0 and won a BCS bowl. To say that he wasn't a big name at that point is just plain ignorant.

Anonymous said...

"In 2004 the Utes went 12-0 and won a BCS bowl. To say that he wasn't a big name at that point is just plain ignorant."

I'm not saying Urban wasn't a big name. I'm saying that to pretend like he was this other-worldly force while Richt was a nobody is incorrect.

FWIW, that Utah team would have lost 4 games in the SEC that year.

Kevin said...

"none of the coaching positions at UGA are desired by top notch caoches [sic]."

Yeah, I can't imagine how the fertile rich recruiting fields of Georgia and annual top 10 recruit classes could possibly entice an incoming coach. Esp since he'd get to lay waste to the staff (if he so chooses) and build the program however he wants. Esp since all he'd have to do is win 7 games with one of the most talented teams (albeit underachieving) in the nation.

Sounds horrible. Oh and I heard they don't pay beans in the SEC.

Anonymous said...

Anon 12:47, I will join your minority. I agree with most of the negative comments on here, but I think the source of a lot of these problems is CMR's piousness. Think about it, his faith comes first, then probably family, with football taking 3rd or even lower. He needs to reprioritize. Think about it. His demeanor is kind of "oh well, at least I'm straight with Jesus." I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of his coaches go to his church. Don't get me wrong, I'm Christian, I just don't think Jesus gives a crap about whether the Bulldogs win. Or even whether the players do their best.

Also, he talks about how he wants the team to have fun. The blackouts, the excessive celebrations. This is how he thinks you motivate players. It's not fun to lose.

Anonymous said...

Yeah 12:00pm that is what Damien and Addams thought when they tried to hire a top notch head basketball coach. It's about UGA/Athens not the depth of talent here.

Anonymous said...

Did you really just blame CMR for placing his family and religion above football? Are you f'ing serious? You need a GD reality check. To fault a man for putting his family's well being and his religion above his job shows your complete and total ignorance.

I can't believe the stuff I'm reading. Just like the wimps leaving the game early on sat. When the goings get tough, you try to beat traffic out of town. Jesus.

That's the kind of behavior I would expect from people who whine that our coach doesn't show enough emotion. You sound like my f'ing girlfriend. Shut the F up! God forbid have a coach that has poise and keeps a calm head in the face of adversity. You would rather have him run around like a GD 12 yr old girl, e.g. Les Miles or Kiffin. Bc he doesn't cry at press conferences or do cartwheels on the sidelines, you think he doesn't care enough about the team? Not everyone wears their feelings on their sleeves like a bunch of women.

It's been a bad year with some tough losses. That's why you play the damn game. If you can't handle a loss or a down season, stay at home and talk with your wife about your emotions and feelings regarding this years team. CMR will do what needs to be done to get this program back on the right track and all of you will be singing his praises. I just hope someone is there to hold your ignorant asses accountable for the things you are saying this year.

Anon @ 11:43

"I'm not saying Urban wasn't a big name. I'm saying that to pretend like he was this other-worldly force while Richt was a nobody is incorrect."

Are you that f'in slow? Meyer had a NATIONAL head coach of the year award when Florida was after him. He also had a BCS win as head coach BEFORE he started coaching at Florida. Richt, while a relatively well known assistant, HAD NO EXPERIENCE AS A HEAD COACH.

I also didn't say Richt was a nobody when he was hired. Instead I said this - "Richt was an assistant coach at FSU. He wasn't an unknown, but he certainly didn't qualify as a "top coach" or a household name."

In addition to that, he certainly hadn't won a BCS bowl game as a head coach, nor had he won a NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD BECAUSE HE HAD NEVER BEEN A HEAD COACH AT THAT POINT.

"FWIW, that Utah team would have lost 4 games in the SEC that year."

Who the fuck cares? Going undefeated at Utah and winning a BCS bowl is sure as shit more impressive than being a moderately well-known assistant at FSU.

I hope you're right about Richt. I agree that Richt didn't get where he is in life by being a wimp and he isn't weakened by his faith, he is strengthened by it.

You consider his demeaner to be a reflection of his manly stoicism. Others consider his demeanor to possibly mean he is clueless, doesn't care, or is just plain stoned out of his mind. I think I understand both impressions. Again, I hope you are right. I think we'll find out a lot about the man this offseason.

GO DAWGS KILL TECH.

Anonymous said...

Even just considering to get rid of Richt is just plain stupid. Do we really need to be reminded that, by percentage, he is the best coach Georgia has ever had in the program's history? The game is more competitive now than it ever was before, by the way.

As I recall, at the half we had held UK to six points and we had more than tripled their score. After that it was the PLAYERS who crapped the bed, not the coaches.

Richt didn't fumble the ball on the 14. It was Smith, a freshman.

Maritnez didn't throw the horrible interception on the 50. It was Cox, a guy starting for the first time as a senior.

And Bobo didn't drop the ball at the goal line. It was Ealy, another freshman.

So, mistakes by a couple of young guys and a guy who, at best, is an average quarterback cost us a football game. Were it not for those plays we're in a different boat and looking forward to kicking tail against Tech instead of the other way around.

Guys, a lot of us here need to seriously take a breath and gain some perspective. We play in what we all acknowledge is the hardest conference in America with one of the hardest schedules. Glory under those circumstances is great, but the other side of that sword is the unforgiving nature of even small mistakes.

Take heart in the fact that the guys that are becoming our playmakers are young and moldable. Not outgoing seniors. Other teams will suffer attrition through graduation and the NFL, and with some tweaks to coaching things will eventually turn in our favor.

And for all of you criers out there. Suck it up, losers. You all remind me of people that never played organized sports yourself. If you had you would realize that losing is occasionally part of the game. Didn't you have a Dad to teach you that?

Support your team through good or bad, or do us all a favor and just jump off a bridge.

Anon 1:23

There are a few things that I want to address. I have to agree with Anon 12:47. I believe that he believes that God will win the victory for him.

The Bible says nothing about that. There are plenty of people in the Bible who rested on their laurels hoping that God would save them without them doing anything.

On the contrary the Bible tells us to consider the ant and consider her ways (proverbs 6:6). This is what I believe is missing in CMR game plans.

There seems to be the mindset that fate decides who wins or loses. It is not fate that decides who wins or loses. We have to work and work hard if we are going to succeed. There are no promises in life.

I believe that CMR believes that because he is a Christian then win or lose it is okay because his faith is strengthened. I disagree with this mindset completely. I do not think that it is Biblical in anyway. Sure we can look for a silver lining or lesson to be learned but God expects man to get to work and work hard. This being the something that is lost, at least in my view of CMR faith and job.

You can say what you will but fate decides nothing. Hard work and desire to win puts us in position to win. This is why the Bible tells us to keep our eyes on the prize and fight the good fight of faith. It does not say sit back and wait for fate or something special to happen.

I'll be honest. Before this season started I thought we were looking at a 7 win season, 8 at absolute best. Here we are.

"You gotta beat UT, UF, and GT, richt is gonna be 1-5 in two years unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat."

At this point I'm not sure including Florida on the list is fair to any coach at Georgia- UF:UGA as UGA:GT , sure the flip team will win 2 a decade +/- 1 but expecting much more from the Head Coach is a great recipe for running a guy out of town- O'Leary was crap against UGA but he was a good coach for GT- the same is true for Richt and UF.

Thats a pretty big rabbit Anon 5:44.
I see a blow out against the buzzy bees. Oh how the mighty hath fallen !
How do you fix Georgia ??? I think the world of Coach Richt. I hope UGA is where he makes his career as an HC. The year Kentucky beat UGA in Athens was 1977. UK 33 UGA 0.
1977 UGA was 5-6. Dooley had his bad years too. Im not sure about the stats, but 5-6 sounds alot like what we're working on now. Oh well. Time for a whipping. Whose making fun of the Triple Option now ? I thought a few years ago the worst nightmare coach Tech could dial up to hire for beating UGA would have been Spurrier had he not gone to SC. But PJ, Coach Johnson, what a pick by the Tech AD. Would the next Theron Sapp please stand up !

The UGA IV story is a myth, spread by the coaching staff, to divert attention. Good news, UGA is still alive!

TWO SEC TITLES, THREE SEC EAST TITLES,A #2 & A #3 NATL. FINISH, TWO-TIME SEC COACH OF THE YEAR. IN HIS FIRST 8 SEASONS. TWO 10-WIN SEASONS AND NOTHING MORE IN THE PREVIOUS 17 SEASONS SPANNING DONNAN, GOFF, AND THE LAST 5 YEARS FOR THE MAN WHO IS UGA FOOTBALL. BTW, DIDN'T EVERYONE WANT TO FIRE HIM AFTER 1979? HE DID OK FROM '80-'83. DON'T FORGET, THE 11-2, #2-RANKED 2007 TEAM FOLLOWED THE WORST (9-4)TEAM OF THE RICHT ERA PRIOR TO '09. AND WHEN IN THE 118-YEAR HISTORY OF UGA FOOTBALL HAVE THE DAWGS BEEN ANY BETTER OVER AN 8-YEAR SPAN THAN 2001-08? RICHT IS A GOOD MAN AND A GOOD COACH. LET'S NOT FIRE HIM JUST YET. WHO WOULD YOU REPLACE HIM WITH? AND WASN'T GLEN MASON REGARDED AS A TOP COACH WHEN WE HIRED HIM? THAT WENT WELL. SAME FOR JIM HARRICK. AS FOR BOBO, WE'D EASILY SCORE 35-40 PTS. A GAME IF NOT FOR LACK OF EXECUTION. EVEN WITH ALL THE DROPPED PASSES AND TURNOVERS WE AVG. 27.4 THIS YEAR. IT'S NOT HIS PLAYCALLING. I DO THINK WILLIE HAS HAD ENOUGH CHANCES THOUGH.

I agree the oc has no say on the talent or personnel in the game or on the team(well ours don't). Following that thread jf can't help it if no one shows up to tackle nor stay in their lane or silly penalties. Can't blame ss because we can only block tn. tech.WM well....Making our only problems refs and MR putting faith, family and education ahead of fb(like a sane person).

I suppose I'd just like to know what Unhairy Dawg has to say about Saturday's outcome. Sorry, I know this post is a big belated, but after scrolling past that nonsense I simply figured that surely one with such profundities would like to offer some sort of recant?

If not, I'll offer instead some little-known Quentin Tarantino wisdom: "The less a man makes declarative statements the less apt he is to look foolish in retrospect."

Proud of my boys. Go Dawgs!
