Braves: Jeff Francoeur is going to the City of Atlanta

I went to last night's Braves game. Ton-o-Fun. I usually hit 4-5 games a year. This was #4 for the season, but I'm probably less up to speed on the Bravos this year than most.

But I couldn't resist seeing Francoeur's first game. Gotta love the Home Town Golden Boy does good story. The crowd reaction to him on his first plate appearance was great. SI.com has a nice profile on the Braves today.

Will the Braves end their playoff woes this year? Probably not with so many young hitters. But with Hampton and Hudson about to return, they may open up a world class can of whoopass on the rest of the National League in the regular season.
