Is it just me, or does this look like Mike Dukakis seated in the tank in 1988?
Perhaps Urban is channelling the spirit of Dukakis. He's certainly doing about as good a job with his intial SEC campaign as Mike did with the 88 Presidential campaign. For those lacking a sense of history, please note that in late August, before the campaign began, Mike was a heavy favorite. Mike was going to revolutionize the federal government, just like he'd done in Massachusetts. The old order? No good. Outdated. Didn't have a chance.
Well. You know how it came out. Mike was cocky at first; under the pressure of national attention and a bigger stage than he was used to, his team shot itself in the foot several times. By the end of October, he'd blown all that big lead and was scrambling to hang on. He didnt. Now, he's a historical laughingstock.
Et tu, Urban?

Very keen! Only problem was that President Bush wasn't the incumbant at that point. That was the election after Reagan's 2nd term.
DuCockis and Meyer must be blood related and it must be a loser family! Similar to the O'Doyles!
