Looking Back:
Doug brings us another Recap of the SEC Championship game.
The ND fans at Blue-Gray Sky have taken an excellent look at the Coach's Poll ballots. If you can get past all the conspiracy theories about Spurrier and Notre Dame, it's an interesting read. They took a much more in-depth look at the poll than I did, but in fairness to me there is like 8 of them. I am but one man doing The Lord's Work here at the Georgia Sports blog.
And, EDSBS enjoys reckless speculation on Pete Carroll's return to the NFL.
Looking forward:
As was suggested on the DawgVent last night, if you are looking for quality investments to take advantage of the Sugar Bowl's move to Atlanta, I would suggest U-Haul or Rooms-To-Go. Why? One way or the other, the West Virginia fans will be burning couches after the game (Pittsburgh Tribune). Win or lose, some defenseless couch is a goner (Post-Gazette). It's just a question of....are they buying them when they get here, or are they bringing them with them?
UGA has its hedges. Auburn has its War Eagle/Tiger. UVA has that queer fight song. And West Virginia burns couches (Washington Post). Everyone has their traditions I guess. With that in mind, here's a perfectly named WVU Fan Site -- We Must Ignite This Couch.
Also, check out this CafePress vendor who sells shirts that say "WVU: Where Greatness is Learned and Couches are Burned" (Click on the Pic to visit his store):
GT vs. UGA Basketball pre-game:
As for the GT game tonight....I'm a total shanker. I forgot to upload some great pics for the pre-game. I have no analysis on the hoops game other than -- "I have no idea what to expect from either team, but GT has certainly played better competition than us so far." I'm planning to attend the game tonight, so I'll have a better idea on the team afterwards.
Until then. Go Dawgs.

GT @ UGa Preview
Basically, UGa has shot the ball really well (especially from 3), we've played good defense and have a much better interior game - and who knows what to expect tonight. Should be fun.
And ... I called it. UGa shot the ball very well again, and Jeremis Smith just murdered UGa's frontcourt. I wasn't counting on him going 9-21 from the FT line though, that's a big ouch. Anthony Morrow is an absolute stud, and other than him and Smith the rest of the GT team might as well have stayed at home in Atlanta.
UGa has a pretty good team this year, you guys should be out supporting them. Teams with really good frontlines are going to hurt you, but there aren't many in college hoops, and if you keep shooting 40% from 3 ... the 'dawgs are a tournament team.
