Congratulations!! That did look easy. I'm predicting a PR problem for Les Miles as it was in the Dallas paper yesterday that he and the AD had come to Dallas to lobby the Cotton Bowl to take them instead of Bama "if they lost the SECCG". I'm sure as poorly as the Kittens played last night the fans will question Les' preparation.

Good luck against West Virginia. Too bad you're not playing FSU - it'd be an interesting game to have Richt go against his aging boss.

Nah, we've already done that and won before.

Personally, I'd like to have seen a rematch of the 1980 Sugar when we beat Notre Dame for the NCAA Championship. If you want to talk about UGA fans getting rowdy, then that's the bowl to do it with.

I also would've like to have seen a UGA vs. Penn St. game. Joe Pa's team is just fun to watch and I think our schools have a lot in common.

Everyone keeps saying the BCS finally got it right, but I have to disagree until I watch West Virginia play a little more than what I have seen.

West Virginia with a True freshman QB in a packed Georgia Dome facing a pro Dawg crowd isn't going to give you that clear of a picture into how good they are.

I think we roll them in this situation.

That said. This WVU team is legit. They can play with almost anyone outside of the Top 5 or 6 teams in the country.

Yeah, I would warn against underestimating the 'Neers in the Sugar Bowl -- on paper the situation sets up for a Georgia beatdown, but WVU has some strikingly SEC-like speed at most of the skill positions, and has done an amazing job of running the ball this season. That said, after going through kind of a midseason slump, Georgia's run defense has just plain locked down over the past few games, neutralizing Kentucky, GT, and LSU, and I'm excited to see that progress continue.

An awesome win for an awesome team. GO DAWGS!
