FanBlogs.com is posting 2006 schedules for a variety of teams. Texas Tech stands out in the sheer candy assness of their non-conference schedule -- SMU, UTEP, TCU and Southeastern Louisiana. No. Seriously that's their list. Virginia Tech is another pansy scheduler with OCC games vs. Kent State, Southern Miss, Northeastern and Cincy. Also, Auburn plays inside the State of Alabama nine times next year although their schedule is quasi-reasonable in that they open with Washington State.
BurntOrangeNation has a great photo of Texas Cheerleaders in Chaps.
Ain't nothing wrong with that. Click to enlarge.
The Orlando Sentinel ranks schools around the country by how hard they are for a recruit to get into. Georgia and Georgia Tech are both given "7" rankings. This news comes as a shocker to many Tech fans. Rather than dwell on the UGA side of things, the GT Sports Blog takes a different approach to the story. He says the issue with GT isn't how tough it is to get IN, but how tough it is to get OUT.
Deadspin points out that we should...Fear the Steelers fans. Speaking of Super Bowl participants, White Castle (aka Krystal for Yankees) is proposing a Day After the Super Bowl holiday.
Lastly, with Signing Day right around the corner, here's a great picture of Super Recruit Matt Stafford leading Highland Park to the State Title game in Texas (Dallas News).
Spring should be interesting. Photo from a DawgVent sig.
