Nice look. Big improvement from the blue. Since you asked, the red is just a bit off. Of course it could be my monitor, but when compared to the red of the DawgPost, your red seems more faded. A retro-red if you will. I would bet Trippi and Sinkwich would approve. :^) Nice change from the blue though. Keep up the good work. I love this blog.
I guess now you have standing to give CDF a hard time about the color of his ties. Before, it was a little off coming from the proprietor of a blue and green Georgia sports blog.
You're red-green colorblind, too? Oh, the stories we could probably tell each other. My most embarrassing to date, at least in the UGA-related category, was when I found a sweater vest at the Gap I thought was Georgia red, and the first time I wore it home my mom was like, "Why would you buy an orange sweater vest?" Not long after that, I was at a bar in Columbus on a Saturday night and some dude asked me if I was an Auburn fan. Oh, the shame.
I hate watching Clemson on TV at night. They have that darker orange which on some TV sets looks red on TV to me. Especially at night.
Drives me nuts.
Do you own your own home yet? Try painting your first house without a woman's watchful eye during paint selection. They should have handicapped parking stickers in front of Benjamin Moore stores.
Honestly, I've never felt more stupid than standing in the middle of Lowe's looking at paint.
To make matters worse, I went with Reds and Greens to face my colorblindness head on. I ended up bringing friends over to help make sure I didn't paint it in some sort of willy wonka abstraction.
15-20% of white males are red green colorblind. Most don't know it until they go shopping for paint.
And most aren't near as bad as me.
Check out the Daltonizer, but you have to do it with a color normal person. When both of you describe what you see, they will finally understand how screwed up you are.
Never had the occasion to buy paint, but buying clothes can be hassle enough. Now I only go clothes-shopping with a straight woman or a gay man. Leave the fashion decisions up to the experts, like.
'Course, I've determined that my next car is going to be red, so I'll probably have to bring one of them with me when I go car shopping, too.
Love the new look! Red and Black like it oughtta be! If only I can get the CSTV people to change the aesthetics of my site! Thanks for the feedback... I totally agree with what you said about Auburn. However, I believe that the Stegesaurus is light years ahead of Beard-Eaves and I guess I'll have to visit other schools to be able to judge. I won't be able to make any other road trips this semester. I'm hoping next spring we play in Gainesville on a Saturday so I can go visit my friends down there and go to the abyss known as the O-Dome.
13 or so years ago---pre-Olympic revamping --- Steg was every bit as bad or worse than AU's facility is now.
The open end of the horseshoe under the banners used to house an old wooden stage. I walked across that stage to graduate from High school in '90. All of the seats were still wooden then. The place had no A/C.
They still hosted the rodeo. Anytime they bought new stereo equipment the rodeo dust would kill the equipment.
The lights were those sodium lights that hum loudly when you cut them on, but take like 30 minutes to warm up.
And the floor was beat to shit.
It's still behind the times, but with the most recent cosmetic upgrades are titanticly better. Getting rid of the NIT banners was beyond huge.
Before the olympic redesign it was really, really, really, really sad.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm red/green color blind so matching the reds is really tough.
In fact, I wasn't convinced that the gray in the upper right corner wasn't a shade of green...like sage or something.

Iron Chef Turducken deserves some credit for the new paint job too.

I'm worse with Greens than Reds.
As for Iron Chef Turducken....you're right. I should've just called her that instead. lol.
