10 Years of NCAA Tourney Sleepers: SI.com

Their 1996 Sleeper of the Year was the Georgia Bulldogs who beat Clemson in the opening round, toppled #1 seed Purdue in the second round and took Syracuse to the final shot in overtime before losing in the Sweet 16.

If Wallace misses that final shot for Syracuse, I would've been in Denver to see the Elite 8 game. We already were planning on being in town anyway that weekend.

That game is a reminder for Saturdays game.....anything can happen.

I was at the 3 Dollar Cafe in Buckhead for that Syracuse game and it was as demoralizing a loss as I've ever been associated with as a fan. There was probably about 100+ Dawg fans there and the place was going nuts.

Jason F***in Cipolla - that guy sucks.

That's when Tight End Larry Brown played for the Dawgs! He always busted his ass on the court and was good for at least 5 points and 6-7 rbds a game. Jon Nordin, Oy! Take a charge buddy!

I was in Lexington Tubby's last year at UGA to watch us play the Cats.

We were sitting with 2 managers from the UGA Football team.

In the 2nd half there was a collision under the basket and Larry Brown was called for a blocking foul. One of the football managers screams...

"That's impossible. Larry Brown doesn't block anybody."
