Watched the game on TV. Did it EVER occur to the Tech people that there is not enough contrast between light gold jerseys and white ones? Both teams had gold helmets and both had dark numbers on their jerseys. Tech should wear their old black or navy jerseys at home (or even white - but not that pansy looking gold). As it was, I thought I was watching an intersquad game.
Notre Dame's gold looked like actual gold. Tech's gold looked like . . . well, I remember back during the summer before my senior year of high school, I had back surgery done at Egleston, and because they were working really close to my spinal cord they pumped me full of antibiotics for pretty much the entire eight hours. Something about antibiotics makes your pee come out a funny color, and . . . my pee after surgery was what Tech's gold looked like.
You were obviously NOT at the same game that I was. That stadium was rocking - the Tech fans did not stare at anything (except maybe the influx of girls from Notre Dame, since we have none worth looking at from Tech). The fans stood on their feet most of the game, cheered loudly, and (might I add) did not leave early like the pathetic "fans" at Sanford Stadium.
Furthermore, Tech fans threw objects at refs, and managed to nail one on live TV. That is what happens when you make a horrible call that hurts Tech so badly.
And my choice for funniest (and nerdiest) shirt of the game: "If the shocker doesn't rock her, Spock her".

I was there too and one my favorite chants/signs I saw was, "Rudy was offsides".
