Home Basketball Game Tonight vs. WKU (TV info)

Mike Mercer vs. Southern. Image: Georgiadogs.com

The Hoop Dawgs take on Western Kentucky tonight at 7:00 pm on FSN South. As I linked earlier, the AJC has a preview of the game that focuses on Billy Humphrey.

This is the third year of a four year series with WKU that was scheduled as part of Felton's contractual buyout with WKU's athletic department. Georgia lost the first game in Athens 71-61, but we won the second game last year on the road 69-65. We play them next year on the road to hopefully close out the series.

We need a good crowd tonight. I won't be there because of a work conflict, but I plan on watching it on TV. This is the closest thing to a "test" for the Bulldogs until we play Wake Forest on the road Dec. 2nd. (See: UGA Schedule)

I am there, and am pumped like hell.

This team is good, I was there friday night, they're 5 times more athletic than last year.

Any Dawgs in Albany? Can't find where the game is being shown here...is it supposed to be on 37, which says it is Fox SS?

Thanks for the help.

Not cool. Tooney transfering, AND we lose. Just uncool.

anyone know why Toney is transferring?? I saw his statement on georgiadogs.com; very professional, but didn't give a reason.
Hate like hell to hear this.

Listened to the game as well - it was like a different team came to play in the 2nd half. Sounds vaguely familiar. Damn.
