Vince Vance Commits
6'8" 310 elite JUCO offensive tackle prospect Vince Vance committed to Georgia today. DawgPost, Ugasports.com and the AJC all have the story. As of right now, the projected OL for 2007 looks like this:
- OT - Chester Adams - SR
OT - Vince Vance - RSo. (early enrollee this year)
OG - Fernando Velasco - RSr.
OG - Seth Watts, Justin Anderson, Chris Davis or Kevin Perez
C - Ian "Tater Salad" Smith (RSo.) or Kevin Perez (RFr)

I'm not sure if I would want to take snaps from Ian "Tater Salad" Smith.
I think Vance can start, but would need to make Kareem Marshall like strides between now and August. That T spot opposite Cheese is a toss up between Vance, Chris Davis, and some of the others incoming this class. And don't count out Blaes inside. You don't sign JUCOs to take their time finding a spot in the rotation.
