Just so I get this right...this week's ESPN/USA Today Coach's Poll has Kentucky ranked, Vanderbilt receiving 42 votes, LSU receiving 7 votes, and Georgia, which beat all three receiving no votes. Are we on probation or something?
Just so I get this right...33% of Georgia's losses are against the top 2 teams in the nation and 66% are against teams ranked in the top 21 of the same poll.
This team should also use the fact that Little Davey Odom (the only voting coach from the SEC) apparently didn't think enough of the 80-56 beatdown that Georgia put on his boys to even throw them a vote.
well i'm a huge tech fan, but i will say uga is playing some tuff b-ball right now! doing much better than our team anyways!
Anon 1 is right. The AP poll tossed us a few votes, but the point is pretty much the same.
Luckily the RPI is relied upon heavily by the committee - and it accurately displays Georgia's resume. Good thing that there isn't a Kirk Herbstreit around to throw a computer off a stage.
This looks shockingly familiar to Georgia's end of season football rankings. I hope Georgia doesn't become the Rodney Dangerfield of collegiate sports rankings. Then again, I'd prefer that to being the Notre Dame of collegiate sports rankings.
the only poll that matters is at the end of March...leave them unranked and lets see how deep they can go into the tourney.
