Do it for Brophy
Chip Towers has an inital salute to Kevin Brophy on the AJC's site. Towers will have a longer piece on Brophy in Sunday's paper. He also reminds everyone:
As you all probably know, there is going to be a tribute BEFORE the game to the late Kevin Brophy, the Australian player who was killed in a car accident in Greensboro last summer. Coach Dennis Felton asked me to ask our readers to please get to the game early as the ceremony will begin several minutes before the scheduled 3:05 p.m. Sunday tipoff. [Felton] suggests being there by 2:45.The Red & Black has its preview of the LSU game already up. About 1,500 seats still remain for the game Sunday against one of last year's Final Four participants.
Update 1: Georgiadogs.com has an article up about the ceremony to honor Brophy's family.
Update 2: The Game will be televised on LF Sports.
The following promotional events are also scheduled for Sunday’s game vs. LSU:
- * All fans are encouraged to wear RED to the game
* Kevin Brophy ceremony is scheduled for pregame
* First 2,000 UGA Students will receive a Georgia Basketball RED OUT t-shirt

the game will be televised on LF Sports. You can always check the schedule on georgiadogs.com to see if it will be on TV.
not a complaint, just a question... why did you remove the pix of Brophy & replace it with the one of the patch?
He was a friend - thank you for posting the article & encouraging fans to come out to support his family & the team.
why?
I liked the patch photo. that's all.
