Saban's defensive coordinator is going to be Kevin Steele according to the Tallahassee Democrat. Steele is the linebackers coach at FSU. He has no ties to the University of Alabama, but his parents live in Tuscaloosa.
He has also hired Lance Thompson from UCF. Thompson has worked at GT and Bama in recent years. And he's talking with Jimbo Fisher about being his OC. In fact that Tuscaloosa News has a great look at many of his possible assistants.

Gotta wonder if Kirby Smart will follow Saban.
I was glad when he came to UGA & a little ticked when he left us after only 1 year, but that soon dwindled when we got Tony Ball. We certainly ended up on the better end of that deal.
