Latest Bracketology Projections

ESPN's latest bracket (updated: Sunday) has us as an 11 seed vs. Arizona in Round 1 out of Columbus. All things considered, that's about ideal right now. We are listed as the last 4 in along with Georgia Tech, Maryland and Illinois. Arkansas, KSU, Texas Tech and Syracuse as listed among the "last 4 out" of the tourney.

Obviously, this is all subject to change. The Dawgs still need 9 SEC wins to hold serve. Last night, the Vols and Yellow Jackets did us no favors with their respective wins over the Wildcats and Seminoles.

The UT win bunches up the bottom of the SEC East even tighter, and the GT win puts us much more in competition with them for an at large spot.

Tonight's SEC Schedule:
*LSU at Ole Miss [LFS] 7:00 p.m.
*Arkansas at Mississippi State 7:00 p.m.
*South Carolina at Vanderbilt 7:00 p.m.
*Alabama at Florida [LFS] 8:00 p.m.
Go Dawgs.

How he projects the ACC getting 9 is beyond me. The SEC / Pac 10 are the best and the former is only getting 7.

Outside of Florida, the SEC is just too damn inconsistant.

UNLV deserves a good seed in the tournament and they were picked to finish 6th in the Mountain West!!!!!!! Suck it sportswriters. you can shove down your mouth.

Saying that the SEC is one of the best two conferences borders on sheer lunacy.
