From UGA Sports Communications
ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia Athletic Association has received permission from the NCAA to accept donations on behalf of UGA football player Michael Lemon and his younger brother, Marquez (15), who suffered the loss of their mother last week.
The Athletic Association is continuing to work with the NCAA in the establishment of a possible trust fund to assist Michael in taking care of Marquez. Due to NCAA rules, the Athletic Association is required to adhere to strict guidelines in the disbursement of funds for the actual and necessary expenses that have resulted from the recent tragic death of the young men's mother, Phaba Lemon of Lizella, Ga.
Individuals interested in making a donation should make checks payable to the University of Georgia Athletic Association with "The Lemon Support Fund" notated on the memo line. Contributions should be forwarded to:

Paul, thanks for publishing this. I hope that all who can afford to make a contribution will do so. Whether it is $10, $100, $1000, it will help this family. Nothing will replace their loss, but knowing The UGA Community cares may make a difference in their future. Thanks, Frank46
