Update: Correction on Women's Hoops

Earlier in the week after the LSU vs. UGA women's basketball game, I said:

I may have heard this incorrectly on the telecast, but I could've sworn I heard the announcers say that Landers hadn't beaten a Top 10 team since 2001. But that has to be wrong. Can someone check and email me or leave a comment.

Several posters said that I was likely mistaken. So I asked UGA's SID for women's hoops about it. Turns out I was wrong as expected.

From UGA:

I'm not sure what was said but we've had several wins over top-10 teams since then. It had been a while but we beat Texas when they were No. 2 at the beginning of the 2004-05 season...Tasha's freshman year. The season before that, we beat both No. 1 Tennessee in the SEC Tournament and No. 3 Purdue in the NCAA Tournament.

So there's that.
