Seth Watts a no show for Spring so far (Image: AJC)
Watts wasn't at spring practice (AJC) for Day 1. No one is really saying much about why. With Watts out, that brings us down to two experienced offensive linemen. Personally, I didn't see Watts in our plans either way. UGAsports.com has him as out permanently, but David Ching isn't sure that's the case.
Coach Searels compared the OL situation to a jigsaw puzzle in a DawgPost.com interview. For more interviews with Coach Searels and other OL articles:

georgiadogs.com says Watts has quit the team - what a bummer. As if we needed more problems on the OL.
Tater Salad, we hardly knew ye.
Well, rass, this is hardly a new problem. It's been quite a while since Watts was looked like he was part of the solution.
I think Ian Smith is "tater salad," isn't he?
Bingo.
Smith is Tater Salad.
Watts is Jeff Jarrett....only he doesn't hit anyone with his guitar.
Damn. So many washout OLs that I'm losing track. I've always been a little hazy about Watts and Smith and so I just assumed it was the one who has already drunk himself out of half a season.
CMR has done many, many things really well and one thing really badly -- evaulate, recruit and develop OLs.
