Dick Bestwick is the former associate athletic director under Dooley that lead the search to replace Ron Jirsa...until that process was hi-jacked by Mike Adams. He was recently interviewed by the AJC in discussing the true upside of the Georgia Basketball program.
He follows that interview up with an editorial piece in today's Athens Banner Herald. In it, he talks about the next steps for the program, and he generally supports the direction things are heading.
It's a good read; however, I disagree with the title. It's currently titled "On the Road to Respectability." Personally, I think we're already at respectable. I'd like to shoot about 10 miles higher than "respectable." But he may not have chosen the headline.
