More on the Zeier & Howard Combo
Georgiadogs.com's photo from the announcement
Dean Legge offers an editorial regarding Howard's move to the play by play job. I highly recommend reading it. His article starts with Howard and Zeier practicing in Sanford Stadium for the new gig.
Josh Kendall's article talks about how Zeier got the interview. While David Ching offers both an interview with Loran Smith and a full Q&A with Zeier and Howard.
As for me...I have to quote my brother in regards to Georgiadogs.com's photo on their front page (see above). "That photo is so bad. It looks like something that your parents show at a wedding rehearsal dinner...to embarrass you."

I still think we should go after Ron Franklin. He's 66 or so, has plans to work many more years, and ESPN keeps marginalizing him. Maybe soon...maybe when Larry quits home games...maybe Zeier is really the Otto here. Ron Franklin and Howard would be awesome.
And yes, I know that Franklin is an Ole Miss grad. But Athens would be a better place to live, and we've got more money/media market $ to throw around.
