Orson Swindle's New Book: Guide to Psycho Fan Behavior

Orson Swindle, of the legendary EverydayShouldBeSaturday.com blog, has co-written a book edited by Warren St. John for ESPN. Warren is best known for his exceptional work on the Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer book. Orson is best known for exceptionally funny, off the wall writing about college football. Oh...and Verne Lundquist name dropping his site.

The book is called the "Guide to Psycho Fan Behavior." The book description from Amazon.com:
Guaranteed to raise your performance to a truly insane level, ESPN Guide to Psycho Fan Behavior is packed with professional tips, informative illustrations, and real-life "fanecdotes." Learn how to kidnap a mascot, the best way to swipe a home-run ball from a bleacher bum, and how to keep running after getting Tasered. With sideline reporting and expert analysis from CollegeHumor.com writers Amir Blumenfeld and Ethan Trex, and from Spencer Hall—who writes the blog Every Day Should Be Saturday—this one-of-a-kind survival manual is the surest way to guarantee that you excel in every game situation: home or away, rain or shine, front row or nosebleed seats, or strapped down in a rubber room at a mental facility.
Orson says the book includes how-to tips for:
    –Fighting a Mascot
    –Kidnapping a Mascot
    –Ditching Family/Friends/Other Annoyances for Sport
    –Surviving a Soccer Riot
    –Proper Body Paint Application
–The proper way to light a couch on fire
    - More
I haven't read it yet. I'm still jockeying for a free copy (hint, hint, hint, hint). But if you read Orson's web site regularly, you probably don't need a vouch from me. I'll review it after I get the free copy. (hint, hint, hint, hint)

Sidenote - if you could get a free ticket to the Alabama game this Saturday and all you had to do was make out with an Alabama girl and sit in a sea of crimson elephants, would you do it? Or do you opt for no-strings-attached home comfort with ESPN HD?

Go with the live action (on and off the field) as long as the Alabama girl doesn't resemble an elephant.

I've dated an Aubie. I'd date a Bama girl in a minute.
