What time is the TN game?
I think the TN game is at 3:30 PM on CBS before the CBS night game which is LSU/UF Patindc.
The Vandy/UGA game being televised to a national audience is great news. It was disappointing to not have the Ole Miss/UGA not on TV anywhere and ESPN2 sure beats Lincoln Financial.
I just wish we had more away games and night and more home games during the day. It would make travel plans easier.
actually i meant that the other way around. More home night games more road day games, sheesh. I'm tired.

I think the University only allows a certain number of night games. The problem is with night games most of the alum, who live in/near Georgia, don't want to be getting out of a game around 11 PM or later. Then if they have to clean up their tailgate, wait through traffic, and then head home you're talking about people not reaching home until early mourning.
I think we've had a pretty good set up so far. Two late games (USC, Ok. State) and two early games. As a student I prefer night games as people tend to get jacked up a bit more, the stadium is generally rocking, and during the earlier parts of the season you can avoid the heat.
I read somewhere that USC, since it started before 6, didn't count as a night game. If so, great, because we still have UK and Auburn as possible marquee match-ups that might become night games depending on how they do.
Where does this leave Lincoln Financial? They are obligated to show each SEC school at least once. Since the Kentucky game is likely going to be a CBS, ESPN, or ESPN2 pickup, it looks like they made a mistake in not taking UGA vs. Ole Miss last week.
Jordan, the University has no say whatsoever over the time a game starts unless it is not being televised. The SEC's television partners decide when we play. If games aren't picked up by a network partner, then the University decides when we play (as was the case this past weekend). If we are picked up by ESPN to play every game at night, its tough nuts.
Except the university doesn't have to agree to the time...
