From reading Coach Ball's comments, it sounds like they're making sure that Caleb is mentally ready to do more than catch toss sweeps. The best news of all...Caleb King has only been on the scout team for two or three weeks this season. So he *should* have a basic working knowledge of more than just a few plays.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with this on Sunday.

My question is that is he really that special to make the jump over Jason J. or Shaun C. who have been in the system longer, or are Knowshon's backups not really up to snuff?
I know that if Kno-Mo goes down they have to play King, but I can't decide whther or not he really is THAT special or if the others just aren't that good. If it's the former and he can help us win in Jacksonville, suit him up.
All I can say is, having my collar bone surgically reconstructed back in May, if I were Thomas Brown I would go ahead and take my time coming back. I can't even imagine taking a shot from some big-ass LB with a nasty attitude in normal circumstances, much less these.
That being said, I know he's younger than I am and in world-class athlete kind of shape, and didn't have to go through the surgery yet, but still...
Play him. This week.
Heaven forbid we give the Gay-turds something to plan for this week beyond the normal set of plays/players. And I don't mean that they're going to re-do their defensive game plan because #22 is in the game - but they'll definitely have to look twice once he's is...
Obviously he's shown the coaches something in practice or they wouldn't even get to this point with him.
I say go "all-in" and let it ride.
Go Dawgs!!
UGA 30 **Coutu wins it late

If he is ready to play and he is that special then play him. And if he is another special back, how come we couldnt get him on the field earlier in the year. At the very least he could of been our KR.
Why are we talking about his as if it's something that should happen? THROW THE BALL DOWNFIELD!
Brandon Cox, freakin' Brandon Cox looked like Joe Namath against Florida's secondary. If we run the ball more than 15-20 times, it's a huge mistake. Run only to keep them off blanance or it situation where Moreno's skill is an advantage (sweeps, stretch, draw, cutbacks).
My picture of the day....

Ryno: excellent point; I wish we could. But we don't have a qb that can put the ball in the hands of his receivers consistently. We don't score on the deep ball. MS either overthrows, underthrows, or our WRs can't play catch. We aren't a threat with the deep ball. Period.
um, neither is auburn. see: their game against us last year.
Id be more concerned with how to contain Percy Harbin than who our TB is.
Auburn hasn't been a deep threat since Aramashadu & Obamanu(sp?) left. Courtney Taylor couldn't even stretch the field....a team that can't get a second half first down is not a good comparison...Auburn's only saving grace is Muschamp's (yes, all AU's great coaches seem to be UGA alum) Defense. If Tubs would have kicked it deep and let the kick coverage (ie:Muschamp's defense) cover then he might not have lost to Coach Insanity.
Which Stafford is gonna show up? That is more important that who runs the ball right now.
The guy who grew up against Auburn & Bama? or the guy who shows up at Dega and in pics writing on college girls stomachs (at least he seems to be more fun than Cox who is an absolute prick.)
FYI...worry more about Harvin and Tebow than who plays RB...if Auburn can do it, then there is no reason that UGA cannot.
Let the torrential rainfall of hatred begin.....
...and I would put Lester against Kno Mo and Rod Smith & Montez Billings against any two Bulldog recievers any day in response to a few days ago......
I played with Caleb King, in middle school and high, and hes special, every time he touches the ball he can score,.
