3 million page views and counting

3 million page views

We broke two milestones this month. First, the Georgia Sports Blog served up more than 250,000 275,000 page views in November. That shatters our old monthly record of ~180,000 page views. In fact, we had almost as many visits in November as our previous high water mark for page views.

Secondly, the site powered through the 3 million page view barrier on the all-time ticker. Actually, I think we broke that barrier last month if you count the original blog URL, and we're closer to 3.5 million. Regardless, it's still not enough traffic that I could mention the site on a first date to impress the ladies. But it's something.

Special thanks to Dawgnoxious and Quinton for helping me with the content as well as Dave A. for helping me with the HTML. And of course, thanks to all the regulars in the comments section like Doug, Jason (both of you), T. Kyle, Kit, TheUnknownStuntman, SSB Charley, Walter G., Smitty, Hobnail, Mr. Egger, Jmac, CitizenCrane, the senator, Dante, Jerome, AllSchool, blackertai, macondawg, chicago, C. Paul, Nathan, Dan, hunkerdown, S.W.A.B. , joel, hunkering hank, MCG, Etc. (I know that I left a bunch of regulars out. Sorry about that.)

Anyway - Thanks to everyone. Particularly, Dawgbone.net. You should be starting your day there.

To celebrate, why don't you do some Christmas shopping in our UGA Bulldog Merchandise store? Or support a sponsor and click on an ad. Or create a user name so that we can figure out who you are instead of just 1,000 anons.

Course, now that I've gone back and looked at previous post, I see that I'm the most prolific poster on this site...

A-non... It's like Know-shon, only stealthier...

Congratulations - thanks for all your work on the site. It helps keep me sane during school.

Go Dawgs.

Wow, Blutarsky marks one year as a blogger, GSB celebrates its 3,000,000th hit . . . I feel like I'm getting left in the dust here. Maybe I'll do a live Webcast of a chop-block fight between me and Trey Dunmon's dad? That'd bring in the hits.

Seriously, congratulations, and thanks right back at you for helping to make my blog what it is today. Whatever that is. ; )

Congratulations and thanks to everyone at GSB. Here's to the next 3 million.

3,000,000 hits. Now that's impressive.

Congrats on what continues to be a great site. You're one of the reasons I decided to take the blogging plunge in the first place.

Which is a good thing. I think. ;)

Congratulations. I think I may have had half of those page views though...

I am constantly looking at several Georgia Blogs, and they are all great, but this is the first one that I always turn to. You do an excellent job. Don't change a thing. Congratulations and GO DAWGS! #4

Congrats! I have enjoyed reading your blog for a while now. I am sure it can take up a lot of your time. Keep up the good work and Go Dawgs!

By the way, I haven't noticed much basketball news since the season started. Just wondering what your takes/predictions are this year?

Dude, you're blowing up. Rack him. War GSB.

Out.

(PS-thanks for the props. More of me, I say.)

Nate - re: hoops

My Prediction?
Pain.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this football season and the anticipation leading up to Sunday's bowl selection show.

Hoops is a buzz kill right now. I'll cover it after I sort of have to. That's just me keeping it real.

Love the site bro. Keep up the great work. Always start my day w/ Dawgbone & the GSB. And, as you know, any day that can start that way is gonna be a good one.

Keep us little people in mind when you blow up like orson.

I estimate your site has caused my employer, this year, about $4,500 in "productivity." It's okay, though. My employer sucks.

Congrats!

Those 2 are usually mutually exclusive in the blogshpere

3,000,000.

Wow, I feel completely useless now.

This is kinda' like one of those moments when you think you're totally awesome for having found an awesome 52" flat panel TV for $300 less than you expected and then your dad tells you he found a 57" for $500 less than what you paid for yours.

Not that I'm bitter.

Regardless, congrats!

Congratulations all and keep up the good work here!

We also enjoy the Senator's blog.

Five stars to mark his one year anniversary would not be a bad idea.

PWD - This is a daily read for me and many of my Dawg friends. Congrats and know that one day you'll meet a woman who thinks 3 million hits is sexier than Evil Richt. Here's to the next 3 mil!
