Read the Bowl senario post before this one. If UGA wins the most likely destination is the Orange Bowl. You see teams all the time holding oranges if they win a game that sends them to the Orange Bowl, just like teams wear the fiesta hats if they win to get to the Fiesta Bowl.
Correction Paul, Orange isn't the Big12's host game--the Orange hosts the ACC and the Fiesta hosts the Big12.
So, if Kansas/Mizzou is #1, the Fiesta gets the first at large pick. If that's us and we go to Tempe and win we would have wins in all the major bowls.
However, I'm hoping OSU is in the title game and that the Fiesta passes us over so we'll have a shot at the Rose. That would be a dream come true, especially if it's a shot against USC.
Ignore what I said above. Totally misread the post. I'm an idiot and my analysis was also totally off b/c I was assuming OU would be the #2 Big12 team, not the Mizzou/KU loser.
Still hope OSU makes it to the title game so we can go to the Rose, though.
Saw a photo in the AJC's online gallery of Richt smiling after the game as he walked off the field holding an orange somebody had thrown from the stands -- was that yours?
Makes sense. Thanks. And I am really going to enjoy watching LSU walk all over UT. Living up in the land of orange..........well I'm sure you can imagine. LOL
The announcers had no idea what they were talking about. Hell, the guys announcing UT/UK said Richt should "cancel his plane reservations" to Atlanta after UT won.
They were idiots - you're absolutely right. Did you also see how awkward that was when Brad Nessler got in the booth with Munson? And then when they said Kathrine Richt gets to be on the sideline because she was sleeping with the head coach?

It wasn't my Orange. Peer pressure said that I wasn't to bring a Jinx orange. Some folks brought them. But not me. I wussed out.
They announcers were saying we are most likely going to the Sugar Bowl. So is it Orange or Sugar?
LSU is going to the Sugar as the SEC Champ after they pound UT.
It won't even be close.
