NC State wins ugly game. Comes down to Sunday

In a nutshell, I blame this...

Georgia pitchers surrendered a staggering NINE walks. The pitching just completely came apart in this one as NCSU beat UGA 10-6. If Dotson Dodson had been able to go another inning in relief, I think we win. But the wheels came off when Dotson Dodson was pulled. The pack has now evened the series.

Georgia sends Nick Montgomery in to pitch against NC State at 4:00 pm on Sunday (ESPN). Montgomery pitched the game of his life last weekend against Tech throwing a four hit complete game shutout. If we get anything remotely close to that performance, we win in a walk.

Perfect song. Stephen Dodson was the pitcher. Just too many walks today. NCST also made some great plays in the field, otherwise we easily have several more runs.

The atmosphere at Foley tomorrow should be amazing. Can't wait!

15 wins in 15 elimination games at Foley Field. That statistic either scares the hell out of you because:

A: You're NC State and that's some serious mojo.

or

B: You're Georgia and the law of averages is, well, the law of averages.

I thought the game is at 1pm today, not 4pm PWD? Am I confused about that or has it been changed?

That's always a nice way to start a game! Let's go Dawgs!

ESPN sucks the big on! They cut away to the LSU game up here in Kentucky. These national networks just piss me off sometimes.

DAWGS WIN!

Congratulations to all the seniors and players who had a fantastic game today.

On a side note, UGA housing TV's ESPN feed cut away to LSU too. What a crock!
