Worst List Ever
A look at the Top 8 QBs in the country. The list doesn't include you know who. You won't believe the dudes on this list ahead of him.

Eh. Not terrible. However:

I'll forgive the guy for not having him #1,or even #5.But the fact that Matt does not even make a #8 on his list tells me this guy is a lamebrain...Did this guy watch any Georgia football at all?
No, these guys do not watch Georgia football.
They watch hi-lites.
Georgia is still a "run first" team. Stafford may throw for more than 300 yard once or twice, but that'll be it. We run it too much for him to put up the kind of stats these jackassess require in order for them to "believe the hype."
Hey, morons...the NFL is quite interested in Mr. Stafford. I think they know a little more about football than you and your lame fantasy football experience.
Stafford would have 400 yards passing every game, too, if he got to throw it 60 times.
I'm of the opinion you are only as good as your competition. If this joker want to tout Armanti Edwards stats against the rest of D1-AA schools with the rest of the big boys because he upset a mediocre Michigan team that just helps disprove his credibility.
Unless UGA starts running a spread offense, I doubt Stafford will ever have the numbers of these other guys. But he is right that I'm thanking the Lord for Knowshon, though he left off the fact I'm thanking him for Matthew, Rennie, Massaquoai and the rest of the team too.
I'd like to see Staff at 8. He really doesn't have the numbers... but to no fault of his own. Matt does what he has to do and lets his team do the rest. He's a great QB but as Dawg19 said, he won't garner respect from these types without putting up video game numbers, which he is not ask to do (nor does he need to for the Dawgs to win).
No problem with the rest of the list, although I'm surprised to see Bradford and Herald below Edwards and Hall... I guess he's ranking them according to how well they work within their respective systems?? HOWEVER, if this list was re-ranked at the end of the season, I'd expect to see our boy Matt in the top 3
One more comment:There are some unsuspecting teams that are going to be lit up like a Roman candle by Staff and company this year.If he stays healthy his respect will come...I have no doubt about that.

This guy is going to look like an even bigger moron than he already is when Stafford is taken as the first QB and a top 10 pick in the draft.

It suits me if Stafford passes no more than 20-25 times per game. If you go back and look at our best offensive performances from last season, the mix that worked like magic was around 40 runs and 20 passes. When you throw the ball no more than 25 times, you don't make meaningless lists. But if you win all of your football games and become the first QB taken in the NFL draft, it probably salves the wound.
I honestly can't beef too much with most of the guys on the list other than Brandstater, but to dump Staff into the same class as Jimmy frickin' Clausen? That's worse than insulting my mother.
Shame Colt Brennan graduated, else they could have had him at number two under little Timmy.
He is right about one thing and that is thanking the Lord for Knowshon!
I am just fine with Stafford not being on the list; I think he is getting enough hype that could go to his head. Unfortunately, I doubt this guy will offset the ass-kissing that Mel Kiper provides.
It seems that pretty often the successful NFL QBs are not the "great" college QBs. I will start that list with Tom Brady.
I recall far more college "great" QBs falling flat on their faces in the NFL.
I do like the love for Armenti Edwards (seeing as how I have a grad degree from Appalachian State!).
This is the same kind of guy who would have had Colt Brennan at the top of his list a year ago. He has no idea the size and speed of the defenses in the SEC. Being able to toss a good ball the Mountain West is nothing compared to what Stafford has to deal with.
He also left out the CMU QB.

I do have to agree that great college QB is not even in the same ballpark as a great NFL QB. You have to go all the way down to 4 on this list before someone who even has a shot in the NFL comes up and this list is 8 of the best college QBs in the country even if it may not be THE 8 best.
I don't know about you fine people but I'm about sick of all these list by "experts".
Stafford is a winner. He plays big in big games. I'll take that over stats any day.
The only stat I care about is the W - and he seems to be racking those up pretty nicely. Can't really say the same for many of those guys on that list.

I am certainly not proclaiming Mr. Dick to be a great quarterback. Without McFadden, that victory would've never happened.
Remember...Mr. Dick completed a LOT of short passes to McFadden and Jones out of the backfield.
