I've never liked Mike Gottfried. Ever.

WTF???? We beat them in the 2005 conference title game!!

If Mike Gottfried and Bill Curry are in the same place at the same time, is it like a douche bag miracle?

Is Gottfried drunk? He really sounds intoxicated.

Gottfried has an illness, one that I have never heard of, but it has slowed his speech dramatically and is why he stopped calling games a few years back.

I love all the negativity coming from the pundits. Keep it coming. Motivate our guys to take an "us against the world" attitude into Baton Rouge. Rile us up. Get us angry. Nothing better than a chip on your shoulder to take into a game like this (see @ Bama 02).

I totally agree. Better to be underrated. I hope the players are getting fired up. This is a statement weekend for UGA.

I love it when we're the underdog... see ya LSU!

I know that LSU has a ton of athletes but I think at this juncture calling their defensive front "vaunted" is a bit much.

As far as I'm concerned I'd be fine with being the underdog from here on out.

What is a 'domining defense'?

I hope Bobo knows what it is.

yeah, what the hell is wrong with mike gottfried? did he suffer some kind of traumatic brain injury? because that would explain both the slurred speech and the inane remarks.

That's the third or fourth time someone at ESPN has said LSU won the SEC Championship game in 2005.

I can't decide if its just wishful thinking or if they really are that incompetent.

He's called "mush mouth" at my house.

Keep'em coming "WWL".

So everybody on ESPN is taking the Tigers to win, so be it.

Maybe the next time we see them, Gottfried will have sobered up--a lot, and they'll be talking about how well our offensive line did against the "vaunted LSU defense" and how Georgia won 34-14, the same score by which they also won the 2005 SEC Championship game against LSU.

Which causes them to correct the record without even noticing that they did.

-What the hell kind of name is Lowell Galindo anyway?

Go Dawgs! Beat those Tigers!

Ha "mush mouth!" Good one Smiff. I can't wait for ESPN to put Gottfried on with Lou "Sutherin' Suthotach" Holpths.

I'm pretty sure we won in 2005.

LOU HOLTZ has picked us. Now I am getting really nervous cuz hes an idiot.

Unknown said...

Actually, I was discussing today, when Lou picks us, all is good. Unless I'm wrong? Though yes, he's an idiot.

I read a good post via those LoSUr blogs today, but it made a good point - talk is cheap (regarding the whiny way we looked about not playing for the championship last year), show up and play. We will, we sure as hell will. Pick who you want CBS/ESPN/Mayday and Lou. . .

Happy fight song Friday. It's Go Dawgs time tomorrow!!!

Mike Gottfried's slurred speech is obviously due to some sort of medical condition (stroke?), so we shouldn't criticize him for that.

Comments on his College Football "insight" are fair game, though.

ESPN is just really sloppy these days.

I think that Gilbert Gottfried could do a better job breaking down games...

not to mention that Gilbert Gottfried would totally own the Aflac trivia questions.

Damn the man with their predictions. 52-38 Dawgs!!! HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS!?!?!

The win was amazing. Good stuff Dawgs, but even more amazing is the story that they are showing

http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=61

Goto 'The Richt Family's Life-Long Commitment' video. If that doesn't touch your heart as a Bulldog, nothing will.

Enjoy.

I like how right before AJ made that long touchdown, the commentators were talking about how he hadn't had a catch yet.

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great win DAWGS!

D'Marko on Fox Sports said "go ahead and put Penn State in the BCS title game". Penn State has beaten 2 teams with winning records....TWO! 4 w/losing records and 3 that are even.

We have beaten four teams with winning records (excluding GSU) and I believe all four were ranked at game time.

They're already setting us up for a fall. they are going to find a way for those computers to not add up in the end. I see Texas vs Penn in Miami coming up.
