Trev Alberts' picks for UGA vs. UF
Trev picks the Dawgs because of Stafford and the running game. Only Leonard Postosties picked against UGA fewer times than Trev. God bless them both.

Talked to a couple of players. That's what they are saying. You can apologize to me at 3:25 on Saturday when we take the field.
Richt has already said we will always wear the silver britches and red helmets. We will be in our normal attire.
If we wear all black uniforms Penn Wagers will flag us 30-yards as soon as we walk on the field.
Rewind to 1998........had beaten FL by 20 the year prior. A real ass whipping. Donnan decides to break out the black pants for Jax......even had Goldberg lead the team out on the field. Dawg fans were going nuts......we were going to repeat 1997.
Then the game started and FL was up by 21 in 7 minutes. Quincy played like, well....Quincy. Alex Brown was a beast. Game over.
Uniforms mean absolutely nothing when the game starts. I hope we beat the living dogshit out of FL wearing red jerseys, red helmets, and of course, silver britches.

I agree. Enough with the damn black jersies. Bring them out again in a couple of years. Our home jersey is RED. We do not need to become the Oregon of the Southeast.
I say lets wear WHITE jerseys and treat this like a road game.

Does anybody know the story of what happened at ESPN, and why we got stuck with Mark May and Granny? Was it a contract dispute? And how can Trev still be in broadcasting purgatory? It seems like at the very least he could pick up a gig as One of the Fox regional networks or something. His obvious love for the Dawgs aside, the guy's just good at what he does. Surely somebody else realizes that.

Trev must have really burned some bridges to not get the call over him.
If I remember right, Trev got tired of constantly having to defer to the Gameday guys in coverage and pretty much walked out on the spot one weekend. Wasn't a real good move professionally. He is a nice guy, though. Ran into he and his family having lunch in Marietta last year. Told him all the Dawg fans loved him but felt a little differently about Mark May, which gave him a good laugh.
How about Trev as the next color commentator on the Bulldog Radio Network. He loves him some RednBlack! Suck it Mark May!
