Well...there's this stat

As pointed out in the comments today....Georgia is 7-1 vs. the defending national champs since 1965.
    2008: UGA vs. LSU (away) - W
    2007: UGA vs. UF (neutral) - W
    2004: UGA vs. LSU (home) - W
    1999: UGA vs. UT (away) - L
    1997: UGA vs. UF (neutral) - W
    1991: UGA vs. GT (away) - W
    1982: UGA vs. Clemson (home) - W
    1965: UGA vs. Alabama (home) - W
So, we've got that going for us. Which is nice.

Hopefully with a second ring Tebow will declare and the Lions will be so jazzed that they forget poor Matt and take him, cause this is pretty sad:

Sorry but UGA will not beat Florida for a very long time. The gap is simply to great between the programs.

GT didn't win the MNC in 1990 or any other year in my lifetime

MNC teams usually don't return 10 of 11 defensive starters.

LOL. But last year there was no gap I guess.

Can we get Damon Evans to sell his soul to the devil, ASAP?

How does a historically irellevant program, playing in the toughest conference in the country have this happen?

Some would say hell is living in the weird-ass, swamp infested, not quite Southern, not quite Yankee, hair gelling, gold chain wearing, foul smelling state just to our south.

But somewhere, some Bull-Gator is getting ready to do eternity waaayyy down south for the Crossroads handshake he made in 1990.

There can literally be no other explanation for this madness.

BCS sucks,
I'm familiar with a team that returned 9 of 11 defensive starters from a 2007 squad that was hell on wheels. Their 2008 didn't turn out as expected.

Let's wait and see what happens to FL in 2009 when they return, yes, 9 of 11. Spikes and Cunningham are gone.

Hey CMR is 3-0 against teams that won a MNC the year before. Also the bye week won't hurt.
