The Guided Tour

Join Vince Vance and Tavarres King on a tour of the UGA locker room.  Darryl Gamble makes an appearance in black tie, which we assume is how all the players dress for class.  You'll also note that the team already has Okie State on the bulletin board.

I'm a little disappointed. I knew it wouldn't be Oregon but dang.

Seemed smaller than I would have thought, but could have been the camera work.

All the players dressed for class? Did i miss the joke? Thats not how the players dress for class. They players are usually decked out in their UGA gear. Its not hard to spot an athlete on campus.

Dubs and Hank,

I've got better photos than that which show it off. But I was asked to take 'em down (LONG story) several years ago. A lot of it is lighting. They were in rooms with the lights off.

It's a pretty cool looking deal. But no...it's not Oregon. No where is like Oregon.

For low end video, it's pretty good.

See mitch, here on the internet we sometimes use this thing called sarcasm . . .

Is that the stadium locker room or at Butts-Mehre?

Butts mehre locker room.

Butts-Mehre.

The locker room at Sanford is nothing to write home about.

Flowery Branch is a shit hole compared to Oregon. Hell, everything is a shit-hole compared to Oregon. A juice bar, a waterfall, AND a grand piano?? If only that translated onto the field for the Ducks

Hows all that gonna change or be enhanced when they renovate Butts-Mehre?

I don't think I would use the guys'video for recruiting purposes!

Guys, our facilities are second to none. This is a pretty impressible set up. You can't compare this to Oregon - they have the CEO for Nike working for them for crying out loud. I have seen other college locker rooms and facilities, and ours is top notch.

I remember when the players would carry the weights outside to workout in the summer and then tote them back inside.

Kids these days have it so easy.

You were expecting a Lifetime Fitness? Yeah, it sucks we don't have a water park in the locker room.

Who cares if it doesn't compare to Oregon? See, the thing is, to enjoy Oregon's facility, you have to...go to and live in Oregon. They HAVE to have something to draw kids to play up there. What's not shown in the video is what is outside of the facility: Athens. To me, that trumps Oregon's facility, hands down.

Living in Oregon: FAIL.

The Butts-Mehre expansion will not touch the Locker Rooms.

Oregon's locker room looks like it was built by a Saudi Prince, so I can live with the Dawgs' digs not quite living up. You know what else Eugene,Oregon has in spades? Crappy weather and dirty hippies; so it's a fair trade, in my opinion.
