Your baseballs and your basketballs that is. The men's basketball team will end the regular season on Saturday, March 7th vs. South Carolina in Athens. The game has been moved to 2:00 pm to accommodate television. The baseball game against Quinnipiac starts at 3:00 pm.
Yes, you'll miss the first 3-4 innings for the second half of the basketball game. Yes, Quinnipiac for all we know could be a fictitious team like the Washington Generals. Agreed. But, the baseball game is 99.9999% guaranteed to wash the frustration of the basketball game off you. And weather.com is predicting a high of 70 degrees with only a 30% chance of showers.
I'm there.

There should NEVER be any competing home games unless the times make it where you could attend both.
This is dumb.
ingeetsp,
There are 14 or 15 sports on campus. The odds that none of them will have TV or other conflicts is long.

Would it not make more sense to go to the first half of the basketball game and the entire baseball game? After all, it will take an awful lot to wash the frustration of just one-half of UGA basketball off.
I understand it's nearly impossible to avoid conflicts between sports at some time or another... but when it's two of the biggest sports on campus... and the home fields are just a couple hundred yards apart... and they share some of the same parking facilities... this seems like a horrible idea.
Nonetheless, also a pretty fun afternoon. Wish I was there!
As a survey researcher, I take offense to comparing Quinnipiac to the Washington Generals. They are one of the most respected survey research Universities in the nation.
However, they have about as much of a chance of beating us as the Generals do beating the Globetrotters.
