Then Who'll Buy These Fat-Armed Girls?

John Isner, our most prominent tennis pro, is never far from Athens in spirit.  Tennis fans still bark at his matches and his alma mater often comes up in interviews.  This month's issue of Tennis Magazine has a brief interview with Isner and he gives Bulldog Nation a morsel of red meat:
"This Georgia Bulldog is available for endorsements ... most of the time.  'No Florida Gators gear.  That's something I would never endorse.'"
Well done, John.

I rise to gradulate a fine Dawg with gooder and higher moral than Percy Harvey. And probably with a higher Wonderlic score, even if he didn't take the test.

I remember in 1986 when Michael Pernfors made his great run to the finals at the French Open, UGA was a big topic of interest. Dan Magill travelled over to support him in his wins over Becker and hometown hero Leconte. The tennis media couldn't get enough of Magill who has always been a quote machine. All of the attention led to a great feature article on Magill and the UGA tennis program in Tennis magazine in 1987.

The French fans got into the barking and were amused when during changeovers UGA fans would "call the dawgs" during changeovers.

After he upset Leconte, Pernfors was asked if playing a Frenchman in the French Open in front of 18,000 screaming Parisians was the toughest challenge he ever had in tennis. Michael said,"No, it's nothing like playing Clemson at Clemson."

This is not be the best photo of Isner. He is 6"9 and has a monster serve. He arms are hardly comparable to Calista Flockharts'. He did exceptionally well at the ATP event at Indian Wells, defeated Saffin and Monfis. He is very vocal about his love of UGA! DGD!

probably had to go to the masters. since golf is so exciting.

He's a tennis player, not a freaking LB'er. He'd beat any Gator player or fan alive so those twits can STFU.

Dude,

Get a freaking life. I've been enjoying Easter with my family. So no posting. I don't give a crap about the Masters.
