Georgia and Auburn Set Basketball Back 65 Years

I was wrong. Very, very wrong. Georgia basketball is not far removed from the Felton days right now. We have more talent. Regretfully, the team is playing like it doesn't have more coaching than it did.

Last night, I wanted to do a very long rundown of all that went wrong. Now, suffice it to say that list is depressingly long. If we win any more, beyond South Carolina, it'll be a surprise. Losing to South Carolina won't be a surprise.

Fox is a nice guy, but he's done this to himself. People have gone out of their way to help him but he just keeps digging a deeper hole. Terribly frustrating for fans.

I disagree We do not have more talent than the Felton years. That is the issue.

If they're just going to half-a$$ it, why bother? When's the last time you actually thought we should win a game - 2001 when Jarvis and Ezra controlled the rock. I can't even watch 5 minutes of one of these games without being reminded of 6th grade P.E. class. C'mon, man!

What is it about Athens that doesn't bring championships? We could use something to brag about. It's been awhile.

Well, I watched all of a Georgia basketball game for the first time this year. That is the most pitiful example of basketball I have seen in 10 years. Once again we go nearly 10 minutes with only one basket, run an offense tat works towards mid court not the basket and has no players that can literally throw it into the ocean......baseball, tennis or football have to come soon.........

TOB,

Sorry, I wasn't very specific in my analysis. How about you look at when the season really starts...midseason, against Kentucky. From that point on they were 10-10. That's not oozing with confidence in the ability to win a game. Now, if their schedule was full of opponents like High Point, I'd be satisfied.
