With baseball to go, Georgia is 9th in the Learfield Sports Directors Cup, which isn't some sort of Quinton Tarantino genitalia protective device as suggested by The Wife. UNC, with a considerably better baseball program than Georgia, is lurking in 10th. I'm no math genius, but making the College World Series should be worth more than the 14.42 points that Georgia is currently leading the Tarheels by.

That should put UNC at 9th and Georgia at 10th when the final standings are released. As the ABH noted, this is a significant improvement over the high teens/20th place Georgia has been lurking around since Damon Evan's time as AD.
Stanford has already sewn up the top spot, as they sponsor approximately 100 sports. The SEC has three of the top ten with Florida (2nd) and Texas A&M (6th) joining Georgia. No other conference has more than two in the top ten.
Of course, going any higher in the standings has costs associated with that.
