SEC Power Poll, Week 9

  1. Alabama - Lane Kiffin just may be the head coach of an SEC team again next year.
  2. LSU - This weekend, I expect Les Miles to try a field goal on their first play from scrimmage to go ahead and get the misses out of the way.
  3. Florida - Give it to Florida, they are quite adept at taking control of a division when no one else will.
  4. Mississippi - If Mississippi continues their trend, they'll hold Fournette to negative four yards rushing, but allow Dak Prescott 300 all purpose yards.
  5. Mississippi State - Dan Mullen is quietly building quite a nice resume for the Texas job.
  6. Tennessee - The Vols finally put together a full game of competence on both sides of the ball.
  7. Texas A&M - The Aggies' offense is like a bad quick service restaurant: too many options that are done poorly and all the cooks are on work release or just a month out of high school.
  8. Georgia - So, the best qb is the third string qb, and the best punter is the second string qb. And you say Georgia keeps missing on qb recruiting.
  9. Arkansas - The Hogs would still be fifth in the Big12.
  10. Auburn - [insert snark about Will Muschamp here]
  11. South Carolina - South Carolina is starting to look more and more like the fourth best team in the SEC East.
  12. Kentucky - I see Kentucky has boiled its whole season down to playing Louisville.
  13. Vandy - I bet Vandy is just so jazzed they got a preview of Tom Herman's offense for when he's the coach at South Carolina next year.
  14. Missouri - I bet the Tigers didn't spend their bye week changing QBs.....
