I remember being in Sanford for that game, and it remains one of the 2 or 3 most amazing plays I've ever seen in person. Everybody in the stadium was faked out; I'm convinced that even the O-Line thought Musa had the ball. Just incredible -- thanks for posting!

Oh my gosh, I had forgotten that one. Awesome video! Thanks for posting; I've forwarded this link to all my family & friends to get us pumped up for 9/2. Go Dawgs!

I loved DJ Shockley for many reasons. I think Stafford will be outstanding for the dawgs.

But no QB will ever pull a PA like greene. Richt could call that play against anyone and it would be a guaranteed TD. The way he would fake the handoff, hide the ball, and just stand there like he's in la la land was just incredible.

What a dawg.

Richt called that play on the 1 yard line in Tally vs. Clemson in 1999 or 2000. Did it work....

How about a 99 yard touchdown. It takes big balls to have Weinke basically standing in the back of the endzone holding the ball for that play.

And the route was on.

There is no doubt, that rooskie was good, but it's no substitute for the first time it made its appearance against Auburn. I still get chills. Too bad it was overshadowed by the overrated Jasper Sanks and a seared mental image of Tuberville with a piece of hedge in his mouth.

We ran that about once a year with Greene at the helm I think. Paul, you are right about Weinke pulling the ultimate version. I remember watching that on tv, his back to the line. He had no idea if he was a nanosecond from being driven into the goalpost or not.

i imagine the hardest part to swallow in this one for Vandy.

They got out smarted on the play.

David Greene was, is, and always shall be the Grand Master of the Fake. I keep hoping I'm going to see the Seahawks pull a fake field goal with him as the holder and watch him throw a TD pass instead, one of these days.
