Video from the 1995 Season

This is both good and bad. It's good to look back and see how well Bobo and Edwards played vs. UT in '95, but it's painful to watch Edwards pull up lame. On the other hand, it's fun to watch Hines Ward leading us to the victory vs. the Jackets.

RIP, #88.

Ah the memories. I remember sitting in the student section at Tech for that game. I had to listen to all of the nerds cheering for most of the game and then got to laugh at them as they all cried after that kick.

That broken foot hurt in so many ways. I really thought we finally had them.

I miss the Goff excitement on the sideline. That clumsy jumping with arms flailing would make for a great montage.

How different would 1995 have been if Edwards had been tackled unhurt at the line of scrimmage that play?

RIP Wayne McDuffie as well.

And it's painful to think what could have been if not for Robert Edwards injuries.

I agree Dave and Mr. Egger...it's hard to watch those clips and not feel a little bit sad thinking about Brice Hunter and Wayne McDuffie. Both tragedies.

at least 5 different backs started a game for UGA in 1995 including:

Robert Edwards
Hines Ward
Torin Kirtsey
Robert Arnaud
Selma Callaway

And I think Odell Collins started one. Even if he didn't, he still played.

We also started 3 QBs that year.

If that team had stayed healthy, it could've gone 9-2, but we would've ended up giving Ray Goff a 6 year extension. He would've still been lazy and stupid. McDuffie (RIP) would've still had his demons. And Hines AND Edwards would've likely gone pro after '96 instead of '97.

It would've just delayed the inevitable.

Nice find PWD. I was at both those games. The end of that UT game is about as gutted as I have ever been at a UGA game, after RE47 going out, then BH88 drop, Dax's long miss, & their chip shot winner.. RE47 was just amazing that day.

The tech game was fun. Thanksgiving afternoon if I remember correctly.

Yup - Torin Kirtsey: 6th string tailback: haven't heard that description before or since.

Kirtsey vs. Clemson for 190 yards or so was a thing of beauty. CU was in the halloween candy unis.

What a game. UGA Fans storm the field in "Death"[sic] Valley after the game. I was on the field, and it was a blast.

Alright, I could handle the Gnarls Barkley but WTF was up with that 2nd song?! Cool video, don't get me wrong... but by the end I hope I didn't miss any Munson or something with my speakers on mute! : P

Um, both songs are by Gnarls Barkley, so I guess you can't handle the Gnarls Barkley.
