Dawgs Steal Win in Bud Walton Arena

Georgia escaped from Arkansas with an impressive road victory late Wednesday night. More importantly, the Dawgs have a three-game winning streak in SEC play going into a two-game road trip that begins Saturday.

Steve Newman drained a three-pointer at the buzzer to seal the deal. UGA shot three straight 3-pointers in the final two minutes of the game. It had been over a year (Jan. 11, 2006) since the Hawgs lost at home.

As usual, not the best quality but hell it's better than nothing which is what most of us saw thanks to ESPN-U only being available on DISH. : (

The win was just HUGE, and for several reasons: it was an SEC road game, it snapped a year long home win streak for the Razorbacks, and it was a three game SEC win streak, all of which you pointed out, but the real significance as I listened to it on the radio is that with about 5 minutes left in the game, we were behind and it would appear coming apart at the seams: we had blown a small lead and were down about six, I think, and Ark was starting to control things. Levi couldn't seem to find a basket and he was clearly getting frustrated. Then we remained calm, regained out composure and pulled it out. T. Brown was a monster inside. Beautiful.

While I know this site and Mr. Dantzler have had their differences in the past, Paul, Dawgnoxious, one of y'all can give him his propers, as he called this five seconds before it happens dead on accurate.

So what you're saying is that particular broken clock was right one other time yesterday?

I'm not saying, I'm just sayin is all.

If I'm not mistaken, we had 4 straight 3-pointers and 3 were by Neman.

Scott Howard's call was a classic, and you are mistaken, it was Newman not Neman.
