NIT Ticket, TV and Game Time Information

The NIT Bracket (PDF) is set, and Georgia may have the easiest road to Madison Square Garden possible. We start things off Wednesday night at 7:00 pm (ESPN2) against Fresno State in Athens. More on the road to NYC later.

The Georgia Men’s Basketball team returns to the postseason when it takes on Fresno State in the 1st Round of the National Invitational Tournament on Wednesday, March 14 in Stegeman Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm. (ESPN2)

Ticket Info:
Reserved Seat tickets are $15 and can be ordered online at georgiadogs.com beginning late Sunday evening. Beginning Monday at 8:30 am, fans can also order by calling the Athletic Ticket Office 1-877-542-1231 or by stopping by the Athletic Ticket Office located in the Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall in addition to the online sales. Also, Stegeman Coliseum Ticket Windows will open two hours prior to tip-off for day of game sales. Mastercard, VISA and cash are all accepted forms of payment.

Seating Info:
Due to Tournament policies, no fan is guaranteed the same seat as they have during the regular season. However, a limited amount of seats in Sections D-E-F-G will be held for Basketball Enhancement Fund (BEF) donors and men’s basketball season ticket holders and assigned upon availability.

Distributing tickets:
Due to the limited turnaround time, all online and phone orders will be held for pickup at Will-Call Ticket Booth 3 at Stegeman Coliseum beginning two hours before tip-off on the day of the game.

Student tickets:
The first 500 UGA Students will be able to attend the game for FREE by showing their valid UGA ID Card at Stegeman Coliseum Ticket Booth 4 beginning two hours before tip-off on the day of the game. All other UGA Student Tickets will be $4 each when showing a valid UGA ID Card at Stegeman Coliseum Ticket Booth 4 on the day of the game. All UGA Student Ticket sales are cash only.

I certainly wouldn't call the path to MSG easy Paul. Winning in Colorado Springs is about as difficult a thing to do as there is in this field. If we make it to next Monday, that game will be tall task to get a W.

I didn't say it was "easy." I said it was the easiest possible.

And when you compare our region to the East, North and South brackets, I think ours is dramatically easier.

That doesn't make it easy overall..just relatively speaking. It could be much worse.

Well, at least we got a home game to start out. From what I read at the Fresno Scout board, their starters play almost the entire game so, hopefully, we can wear them down.

I don't like our chances against anybody on the road.
