The AJC starts things off with quite a bit of optimism from Richt. He says that he feels that we're not too far off from competing for a national title. Richt also alludes to an interest in moving the GA/FLA game from Jacksonville or utilizing some broader rotation of Jax, Athens, Gainesville, Atlanta. No thanks. Keep it in Jacksonville. Stop wetting the bed when we get down there and no one will want to move it.

The Athens paper mainly just focused on Damon's comments regarding Munson's travel schedule. Nothing new there.

Agree Paul. These whiners make us look like the biggest moronic whimps in college football. Man up and win the damn game.
it's one thing with the AD says stuff like that. It's usually negotiating tools. it's another for the head coach to say it.
Dooley played Jax like a fiddle twice for stadium and financial improvements to the game.
I'm fine with doing that again. I just wish it would come from Damon and not mark.
When Mark says it, it doesn't sound like a ploy. He sounds like he's legit thought about pulling out.
Win the game and North Florida opens like a flower to us in recruiting. Run scared and it puts S. Florida more at risk.
BTW -- Politically...it would be BRUTAL for Mike Adams and Damon to try and flee. Many S. GA and Coastal communities depend on that game to help pay their rent.
Don't forget that a few Florida wins in the Ga Dome would not only make us look like chumps (you can thanks the wimpy Atl crowd), but it would enable Meyer to have an excellent recruiting "in" with so many of the North Georgia coaches and athletes.
This issue is going to be absolutely nuclear in a couple of years so prepare thyself.
