REMINDER: AJ Green on ESPN Tomorrow
USAToday reports that ESPN will televise Summerville High School (SC) vs. Booker T. Washington (FL) on Saturday, August 25th at noon EST. Both teams are projected to begin the season in USAToday's Top 25 high school football poll.

Hey everyone, I'm cheaply advertising again. I got an update on my blog and I'm hoping to get an open thread going come on over and fill me in to I missed the first half.

Saw the game and was unimpressed with the overall performance of Sumerville, SC. However, AJ Green's performance was on par of what I was expecting. He is a very lean (maybe even lanky) young man who is quick on his feet. I did not see anything overtly astonishing. Despite the overall aspect of his performance being what it was the individual things were what I believe we are looking for; catching with hands not body, accelerating from the line of scrimmage, and going across the middle.
Being so far removed from High School football, I could be expecting more than what should be expected. Although some of these things have to do with lack of effort and composure of the quarterback for Sumerville.
